The Ring ranked Bob Foster as the no. 17 in their list of the greatest pound for pound punchers of all time, and yet he couldn't take his power up to heavyweight and he got beaten easily by all of the five heavyweights he fought. And there's no evidence that Hagler would have been able to move up in weights, despite being P4P#1. I really don't think ability to move up in weights has anything to do with P4P, that ability is just determined by your body/frame type.

pacman will ko hatton earlier than ugly boy floyd's stopping him.

hatton will last only 6 to 9 rounds.

Pound for Pound or P4P means the best boxer overall based upon his or her boxing skills whatever the weight.

Again, I dont think Hatton has the overall skills to be considered P4P.

cus most people (myself included) thought hopkins won both times. if hatton were to brutally KTFO manny like i suspect he will then he has a strong argument for a high p4p ranking

hatton will never become P4P #1 because the PACMAN will brutally beat him up on May 2. hatton is Delusional, his skills are not P4P material. ^^

so p4p excludes CW and HWs right? its just for LH and below? Ive always wondered how pacman would go against either of the klitchkos

No it doesn't P4P means ifyou removed teh weight classes and magicly made everyone the same size then that would be the ranking, the ability to move up and down the weight divisions have nothing to do with it.

This is the correct definition. P4P is supposed to gauge how well a fighter would do against other fighters, if the weight was the same.

If Hatton beats Pacquaio I will put him above Marquez. Why? Because Marquez has only managed to draw, and lose, to Pacquaio. A Hatton win over Pacquaio would beat any of Marquez's acheivements.

I have Hatton around 6-7 p4p. Going to no1 is realistic if he wins.
