Doesn't the squash sound better on paper? What about Daniel Edouard, he can drive in from West Palm Beach. He's a tough guy with decent power and a little skills, he can make it exciting. Or Danny Perez, who just conquered Julio Baby Face Garcia not long ago. Those guys would both make for exciting fights.

Send in Sergio Mora, I'd like to see him get his ass beat.
Bring in Yuri Foreman, as that would be a fun styles match up.
Grady Brewer is on a bit of a streak let him have a go.

How about Verno Phillips against Angulo? Is he too far a stepup? Losses to Ouma, Quartey, and Williams. Also Spinks somehow he got that decision not sure why.

Can they make 154 on short notice? I know that's why Mora won't take the fight. I'd be surprised if Shaw allowed Angulo to fight anyone heavier than that.

Brewer stunk up the joint but atleast he comes to fight usually. I'm just trying to look out for myself because I had to sit through the Powell fight live in NYC and I'm not about to sit through another Ishe Smith fight at ringside.
            I get you.

I think a Smith fight could be ugly but competitive though whereas a Brewer fight could be ugly and one sided.

              Oh god....

Off topic a bit, but could you imagine Ishe Smith vs. Yuri Foreman? It'd be the most boring fight ever recorded. 100x worse than Johnny Louise and Fres Oquendo.

For the right amount, yeah. I think we're going to see a drastic drop in quality of opposition because given the short notice in which Mayorga has left the promoters, every potential marquee name is going to price gouge to get the most money to take an L.

Ouma is 154lb guy who lives in the Palm Beach area last time I checked, and he hasnt fought in a few months.

you would get a huge amount of punches in an Angulo-Ouma fight.

Paul Williams is always looking for a scrap...Im sure he could KO Angulo and still beat Winky in April.

Man has anybody fallen off as hard as Ouma in the last few years. I remember I was really high on Kassim back when this site first took off and Ouma was dominating the likes of Jantuah and JC Candelo. Jantuah was no punk and Kassim ate him up.

Then that Karmazin fight went down and it all turned around. The Rubio fight was a good turn around, but then he got his face mashed by JT. He had no business losing to guys like K9 or the other scrub he lost to. Crazy.

It'd be a good replacement though. Kassim does have a stout chin still and he'd be all about the action.
