Exactly.... This is what people never mention. Floyd is capable of beating every other ATG that ever lived. He doesnt exactly lack the skills.

Floyd has the ability to beat everyone that fought in his weight.

In my opinion, that long hard jab and strong relentless punching of Hearns is the only 1 I would be surprised if Floyd beat. I cold see Floyd beating Whitaker, SRL, Duran, Pryor, and all the other greats of the last era around 147 lbs, but hearns I see him losing too if they were to fight.

What do yall think abot the Hitman Hearns?
Pryor would give Floyd hell at 140, would swarm the **** out of him from all angles, jabs, leads the lot, floyd would get pushed to the limit for 12 rounds. Pryor could win that fight.

I could go own but threadstarter worships at Floyd's throne.
he only gave him trouble in the 1st fight...and that was with a torn rotator cuff and cracked ribs. 2nd fight imo erased that fight! Go on say what u gon say!!!

Going 1-1 against Castillo beating a washed up Oscar and needing help from Cortez to beat Hatton = nothing legendry.
Duran is to slow for him at 135. at 147 he would have a better showing, but Floyd would never lose to soemone has flatfooted as Duran was. Hearns and SRL do I have the tools to beat him though. Styistically Hearns would be a nightmare for him, like he was for SRL. He beats pryor too with counters and short power shots!

I would pick Robinson, Hearns and Leonard to beat Mayweather without thinking about it. (Jose Napoles is smaller so more interesting).

They are just bigger, and the great bigger man beats the great smaller man.

Specifically on Hearns, P4P Mayweather is leagues above Hearns, but Hearns is just too big.

Leonard and Robinson are smaller than Hearns, but they are p4p all time greats, so then... no way I'd pick Mayweather, maybe *maybe* he could win some fight in a long series with Leonard, but that's about it.

Napoles is a cmore compelling fights.

              LIGHTWEIGHTS
IMO the fights that would be interesting would be the ones against greats of the same size, ie: somewhat large lightweights (Gans, Duran, Pryor, Whitaker), who could still carry 140/147 effectively.

I am leaving out Leonard, because he was a bit too small
Gans is from a different era, so I don't have anything to say.

I would pick Mayweather over Pryor, I am completely undecided on Pea-Pbf, and would pick Duran over Mayweather.

he would counter and clinch when he needed to. He would workout on pryor body with jabs to the body and power shots. That style will never beat Floyd. just throwing shots would never beat him and pryor did a lot of that.

Fighters who "Could" of beat Floyd Mayweather. I won't include Jr Middleweights because thats unfair, these will be fighters from Super Featherweight-Welterweight.

                  Alexis Arguello
                  Aaron Pryor
                  Sugar Ray Leonard
                  Sugar Ray Robinson
                  Thomas Hearns
                  Roberto Duran
                  Pernell Whitaker
                  Wilfredo Benitez
                  Azumah Nelson
                  Julio Cesar Chavez
                  Benny Leonard
                  Joel Casamayor
                  Henry Armstrong
                  Shane Mosley

Remember im not saying these fighters would beat Floyd Mayweather, but he for certain wouldn't go undefeated against these fighters. No fighter who ever lived would.

Nothing I say will change your opinion.

Floyd beats everyone except Tommy Hearns.

Floyd is the greatest even though his best win is Diego Corrales, or something.

                      Happy?
