i voted move on only because, cotto needs someone who he respects because he and his uncle are similar personinty and stubborn they both clash.... someone who takes no **** and can teach cotto defesive techinques like floyd mayweather senor..... cotto has said he does not like to clinch like mosley did against marg but if hes going to be a hall of famer he needs to clinch and work in side and tyed them up

i am a huge cotto fan and i hope he destroys jennings and marg and moves on to pacman with the left hook to the body!!!!

Keep Evangelista Cotto. At the most let some1 assist him. Or advise him. Like wat Oscar did(although that **** aint work).

            He's fine with Evangelista

Switching trainers doesn't always do the job, and Evangelista helped him get to the top of the division and is still ranked as the #2 Welterweight in the World.

There's no shame in taking a loss, it's apart of Boxing. Did Sugar Ray dump Angelo Dundee when he lost to Duran the 1st time?

            He'll be fine.

Things seem to be going just fine and Evangelista has gotten Miguel this far. I've always thought that B-Hop would be a great trainer some day, and if that day ever came I could really see Bernard taking Cotto in and polishing off his skills with some Philly D. Cotto's got a bag a tricks and B-Hop is the master, so I could just see them turning into a great mix.

I know one thing's for sure, stay away from McGirt!

and this is actually true, i've seen cotto train in bairoa countless times, cotto basicaly runs on auto pilot, the guy that really trains him ( or works closely with him ) is Joey Gomez, evangelistas assistant, but cotto is not going to change trainers.

Another trainer could tighten some things for Cotto. I never thought of an ADDITIONAL trainer.

I AGREE with that! Someone's gotta teach him how to tie the other guy up!!!
He doesn't even KNOW how to hold. He looks awkward when he does. He prides himself on never holding which makes him exciting to watch, but now that he's at the top, he needs EVERY TRICK.

B-Hop is GOOD. But being good at fighting, and being good at training are TWO different skills!

Bernard can't sit still in his own seat while being in the audience. You think Cotto would like someone jumping down his throat with THEIR opinion every minute of the fight!?
NO WAY!!!! It'd probably distract more than help someone who concentrates on their own.

He needs someone that doesn't try to change him but takes his already existing strengths to a new level.
Bernard doesn't seem like the type to bend that way.
