Wlad is the champion with three heavyweight belts. Haye would be a voluntary defense.

I think if Haye is being unreasonable, Wlad should opt for a fight with Dimitrenko.

Yep Haye needs to recognise that he's fighting the no1 heavyweight of the world.

If Haye --- after all the big talk, blustering confidence and indications that he's willing to fight either Klit, anywhere, anytime --- screws this fight up by demanding an unrealistic share of the split....I will be, uh, vexed with him.

David's public line is that he will beat Wladimir, no doubt. Then go do it for very good pay, then you can negotiate a lion's share for the next fight after you take his belts.

No way should it be 50-50. It's already enough that it's (provisionally) being hosted in Haye's backyard, so he should accept a 30-70 or 35-65 split. He's not the one with 3 belts, after all.

David Haye is the best thing to happen to HWD since Lennox Lewis.

Haye thinks he deserves a huge payday, but he DOSEN'T deserve ****! He hasn't beaten anybody with a pulse....It should be 70-30 for Wlad.

Haye just wants a big payday so he can cash out after he gets KO'd and humuliated by Wlad.
Yea but if it is held in Stamford Bridge Haye will be bringing in the tickets not Wlad and the PPv buys (if it's PPV will be higher in the UK than in Germany) so as much as Wlad deserves 70-30 it'll mostly likely end up 60-40 maybe even 50-50

Why are people assuming it has anything to do with the spilt? As if people know what's going on with the negotiations.

Not sure. For my part, I was piggybacking on ~Tunney's post and thinking aloud.

Does anyone really see this being a PPV in the UK?

                    Exactly.

LOL@ these Klitschko fans inventing things and gearing the subject that in that direction.

Absolutely. It's not about split, David Gay is just running away screaming 'He is scared'!
He just finnished counting proceeds from Barret fight and decided to sign another shot feather-fisted guy instead of division leaders.

Brits already crowned him as I see in this thread, so why should Gay risk if they are buying Barrett-like ****?
