I've never seen Gomez fight before but I've seen his record and I'm not that impressed with who he's beaten the last few years(lets say since 2003 with Sinan Samil Sam) aside from Virchis. Vitali comes back about 4 years removed and doesnt look like he lost a step, albeit against Peter(whos highly overrated). But im not saying he doesnt have a chance but lets see. Vitali's not like Wlad, he fights tall the whole fight. Oh yeah, im not trying to start a arguement with none of you guys but dont give LL the excuse of not properly training or training for someone else crap in regards to his fight with Vitali. As a supposed HOFer, 1 of the greatest heavyweights ever, or better yet just an elite boxer your always supposed to come into a fight in shape and ready to go with who ever's put in front of you or you going to get close gift decions or knocked out like in his fight with Rahman. In my opinion he was losing the fight. A lot people saw it the other way. But to be an atg you cant leave a question mark in the ring of your last fight. I hear arguements that if he did give him a rematch then someone else would be there to call him out, which is probably true. Thats how it is when your top, but he could have rematched and if he won there would never be question about what could have happened. To me he just took the easy way out.

Arent you the same bum who was complaining that Vitali was going to fight Haye instead of Wladimir, at the same time indirectly showing us your fear of witnessing your boyfriend layed out cold? Now your complaining that Vitali is honoring his mandatory challenge?

On the contrary, with Vitali's elevated confidence and mentality, Lewis probably wouldn't have seen it past 5 rounds in the rematch.

While I think Klitschko will knock out Gomez by mid fight, I'm still wondering in the back of my mind, "does Vitali really still have it or Sam Peter just make him look like he does". I'm a Vitali fan but given his age and history of injuries, I can't get that out of my head. I've only seen Gomez fight on Youtube and I wasn't really impressed so I really don't know what he's bringing to the table in terms of skills and ability. Vitali by KO inside of 8.

Edit: Wow I just went looking for pictures and videos of Gomez. He looks like your typical overweight and slow plodding semi talented heavyweight contender! Vitali by KO inside of 3. LOL

Wow, thanks for the psychology lesson monkey child.

Haye destroys either Klit, and believe this, I have NO fear of that happening at all.

Gomez isnt a garbage fighter, he is a well schooled fighter, who is very evasive and crafty in the squared circle, not to mention quick.

if Vit Klit stops Gomez, it would be impressive

Gomez is far from a slouch.....Vitali knows him well though and the same could be said for Gomez.....he knows Vitali well also so it will be a good fight.........to add to this drama, Gomez is the father of Vitali's trainer grand daughter......in other words Gomez used to bone Fritz Sdunek's daughter

Gomez is skilled he is a bit up and down though against Virchis he looked good and he looked very good against Sinan Samil Sam, but he looked very average in his first fight against McCall I don’t know if this was due to his crack habit and he was knocked out by Yanqui Diaz, if he performs well and Vitali looks a bit old I could see Gomez winning a UD but I would bet on a Vitali wide UD.
If gomez does win he should fight the winner of Haye vs Wlad.

Lewis would have been in shape and beat the **** out of Big Bro Clit in a rematch, only reason he looked lousy in the first fight is cause he was suppose to fight Kirkland and he pulled out 2 weeks prior....
he still put it on Big Clit at the end of the 1st fight, enough to EARN the TKO

JC Gomez has a shady promoter, Ahmed Oner.

With Oner, there's always the possibility of something crooked happening. Remember when Oner rang the bell when his fighter was hurt against Danny Williams, and how the ref helped his fighter get back up in his fight with Braithwaite?
