Hatton has made weight for every fight he's been in so obviously he trains seriously or he would never make weight as much as he gains between fights. Training for 8 weeks in the States instead of 1-2 wont make him more fit, since he's going to be training just as hard regardless of where he is.

Making weight isnt the problem, getting the fight strategy down is key. You dont want to spend the entire time in training just to make weight. Hatton is going to have to change his strategy and stop lunging into his punches so what Sr. is really going to have to do is totally change Hattons style. This is obviously not an easy task especially this late into his career. Hatton cant afford to come into this fight looking like the same Hatton that fought Mayweather. THATS FOR DAMN SURE.

Pac trains like a machine, you better believe that. You tell him he's sparing 12 rounds hell go 24. Dish it all out in training and the fight is a walk in the park, thats Pacs motto. Not saying Hatton dont train hard but Pacquiao is a gym rat, thats why he has so much energy til the final bell and is known to get better during the middle to late rounds.

Work ethic is the key and with this nonsense about camp, I dont see Hatton keeping up with Pacs stamina. SERIOUSLY...

People seem to be talking about this as though Hatton has said that he wouldnt do it. I bet every fighter is reluctant to leave home for long periods away from his friends and family, Hatton just happens to be the one who vocalised that. He'd prefer not to, but he will if Floyd tells him to, whats wrong with that?

you train 8 weeks 2-3 times a year to go to work on one day for 48minutes and earn multple millions of dollars??? I'd say that's a sweet job worth the minor sacrifice... go ask your girl friend Ricky,.. I'll bet she drives you to the airport 9 weeks in advance.
