You guys do realize Marco Antonio Rubio is a pretty good middleweight. Im sure some will be quick to call him a bum after Pavlik beats him. Hes a legit top 5 ranked middleweight in the world. (ESPN and *********).

Also I love how because Pavlik is the best middle, people are so quick to say its a weak divison. But just a few years ago when Hopkins was number 1, im sure it was stacked.

Hopkins' Middleweights were tons better then the current crop besides the titlists. I'll take Holmes, Joppy, and Echols over Slyvester, Griffin, and Gevor.

Rubio is pretty bad. I was not impressed with him against Ornelas at all. He's lost to Ouma, Juntah (Who Abraham KOd a couple of years ago), and Zaurbek (who K9 just KOd). His best wins are either Grady Brewer or Zertuche. That being said, I don't mind him vs Pavlik because he's the perfect comeback for Pavlik.

When I read the title I thought Larry was going to say Mayweather is comin back as a MW, but I agree with him. Pav is gonna tear Rubios ass up. MW isnt that bad, but it has no great boxers which is the style that frustrates Pavlik. No brawler/puncher/swarmer is going to beat Pav at 160.AA will get KOd fuccin with PAv trust and believe.

i hope pavlik learned from hopkins but his teams ****yness pre-fight and pavliks post fight excuses leads me to believe that he will not make a meaningful change.

but that won't matter as he will knockout rubio inside of 5.

I think Abraham would beat him, IMO. Pavlik is not hard to hit and when you aren't hard to hit Abraham hits you hard.
