It must've been pretty deep for the doctor to stop the fight, unless he was paid off by DK to stop it but if that wasn't the case, it must have been either deep or in a dangerous spot for him to tell the ref to stop it.

Judging by the ticket sales, the fight won't be cancelled, but I doubt it happens on 3/14. It was just ****** of Barrera to fight anyway. I mean the guy was 1-7. What was he going to get out of that fight that he couldn't have gotten in sparring?

That, and the video, suggest it should heal up OK, but then I'm not a doctor. If it won't then they need to postpone; nobody wants to see the fight stopped just because Khan opened the cut up again.

I agree with javelin_fangs; exactly what was the fr*gging point of that fight? The form book suggested it was unlikely to go over 2 or 3 rounds anyway. It can't be money; Warren would have paid him twice whatever he was getting not to fight, just to make sure the Khan fight happened.

I dunno, he might just try to avoid stitches, mainly because it's not over the eye. I dunno.

if no stitches more scar tissue, more easily torn open.heals faster with stitches.
i hope they just postpone it.
imo that was an easy money fight for him against kid khan.
