I've seen way worse but that'll sideline him for at least a few weeks, the fight will most likely be cancelled or postponed IMO.

It's not over the eyelid, but if he needed stiches then probably not.

I dunno, he might just try to avoid stitches, mainly because it's not over the eye. I dunno.

That doesn't look that deep but its hard to tell by those pics. The fight should go on, its a big deal over there and the fans want to see it. A nick like that should not postpone a fight that the fans(who are the most important thing to the sport)want to see.

Thats only a small nick. It shouldn't even put him behind. Start training camp mid week, and start sparring in 3 weeks.

Fighters safety is paramount, but yes as much as I can see some over the top doctor saying you need to sit still for weeks or something ******, to me that cut does not look bad enough to put him off for more than a week.

It could be deeper than it looks infact I think it is as the cut was so head on, but there still wasn't loads of blood to suggest that either.

Just alter the training, put most of the sparring and stuff back a bit. Hell Froch recently sparred with a broken rib, didn't then spar much and fought on, it happens a lot within reason.

Not sure what they'll do but the cut looks to be in a place that could heal in time for the fight. It doesn't look that bad in those pics but I'm no doctor.
