Hopefully after this we will see Abraham/Pavlik. I think it can happen as Abraham has shown he has the balls to go to the USA and spark the **** out of Miranda. Sturm won't fight either of them as he is a *****.

Arthur Abraham says he'd tried to get fights with Wright and Sturm, but they wanted no part of him.

I'm hoping Pavlik will fight Abraham after Rubio.

It was Abraham's camp who declined Winky.

Middleweight is the worst division in boxing right now except for the top 3 or 4 guys, so Lajuan Simon I guess is a decent opponent for the time being. Middleweight has like no other contenders besides Abraham, Sturm, and Winky. And two of those 3 are titlists....

I didn't know that. Why did they turn him down and do you have a source?

And here is the article on how Abraham's camp turned it down. It's not a duck, but it clearly contradicts Tunney on saying how Winky wanted no part of him.

                Thank you.

So we dont know why this fight never came about. Since AA allegedly turned down Wright following his win over Marquez it's quite possible that the fight was turned down because AA nearly had a fight made with Felix Stum at that time. Pure speculation of course.

I think Wright-Williams will get Abraham next anyway. I think Pavlik will probably end up fighting Duddy or Sturm after Rubio...

Pavlik-Sturm and Abraham-Williams are great matchups!

Hopefully the promoters will be willing to negotiate wisely enough to make these fights happen.
