Im no big MMA fan but its truly like comparing football and basketball(maybe a little closer), but two different sports. They do have shared skill sets, both sports where heart, training, psychology and talent play a big part. But I am not one of those boxing fans who feels threatened by MMA's popularity. You seem to be a little threatened or maybe you genuinely truly hate MMA.
Honestly I like the athleticism of it and watching the stand up.
Like boxing if you watch it long enough you see guys develop. GSP is truly a guy who seems to be getting better and better. His jab and boxing skills are really stating to seperate him from most others.Comment

well, I did warn some people that this would happen.
I used be a huge mma fan until I met boxing, and the first fight wasnt entertaining. there was no reason why this one would be any better. stpierre layed on top of him to win the first one, and it sounds like he did the same thing tonight from what Im hearingComment

that 4th round dominance mirrors the first round of Pacquiao/Marquez 1. The major difference in the fight was GSP's strength, dude is HUGE compared to BJ, he was bullying him to the fence like nothing, passing his guard like nothing and GNPing his ass like nothing. GSP outclassed and embarrased Penn.Comment
