    Cool.
While your doing that, 8 rings, if we are to combine the two. Lets not go into a "old school" argument. Because, that is all you have.

I train a couple of amateurs..... I was an assistant to Ronnie shields and some other trainers here in houston an Savannah's Gym.... But I ahd bills and could dedicate as much time over there as I wanted... They would all train in the morning which was when I worked...

But I got one dude who is an amateur that is in talks with one of Mayweathers managers.... So hopefully it goes good....

i train some dudes that know people that I know when they have little tournaments down here.... it's cool... But almost no pay at all....

Another thing I find hilarious is how they exaggerate fighters abilities.

This guy is an incredible striker, he is world class at jiu jitsu, hes a world class wrestler etc. When in reality they are none of the above.

I mean they said Patrick Cote was a great boxer and yet hes 0-4 in pro boxing. And he fought Anderson Silva.... for a TITLE.

            Yeah they over do it......

But see they can do that.... the average fight fan knows nothing about any kind of fighting.... They dont know **** from peanut butter when it comes to technique and skill.....

So the average "fan" goes by what they are saying and believes it.... They are gullible...

You're right, it gets annoying. Ufc is a very primitive form of entertainment. It will go out just like trampoline baskteball for that reason...the shock value doesn't last forever you know.

BJ Penn won the BJJ world championships after 3 years of training. He was the first American to ever win it. GSP was considering going for the Beijing Olympics, reportedly more than holds his own with the Canadian national team, and completely outwrestled Josh Koscheck, a 4 time All-American wrestler and NCAA division 1 champion. BJ Penn is a world class BJJ blackbelt, GSP is a world class wrestler. To dispute either of those statements is foolish.

I just looked up Cote and hes only 0-1 in boxing, unless boxrec is missing some of his bouts. still, he lost to someone who was 2-2...and who never got a single win again in boxing. he lost 17 times in a row after beating Cote. Thats Andrew Hartley stuff right there.

but thats the thing about mma...someone whos 0-1 in boxing is a great boxer for mma standards apparently...
