I say that about every big fight he has, and he just doesn't ever show up in shape and focused... that or the whole theory about that being all he needs to win is just wrong.
Wow... what a silly thing to say.Comment

I'm just really tired of saying if Judah can show up in shape and focused, he could win this fight...

Yeah, it can be said for pretty much all his loses, it's not the only thing he needs to win big fights, he really needs a better corner and a better trainer to tighten up some things but he definitely needs to focus, if he can put it all together, he can still be a top guy.
Judah is easily the fastest guy in the sport, but the things that set someone like Mayweather (who people say wins with speed, which is just untrue, and I'll explain why in a moment) apart from Judah are the following:
Judah lacks accuracy, so he can throw blinding punches that don't hit where they are supposed to, so a lot of that speed goes to waste. I would rather have slow Zaragoza like reflexes with good accuracy and timing rather than fast, wild Judah who misses a lot.
Judah lacks defense. He is awfully fast, and supposively slick, but my god, he is really easy to hit for some reason.
The biggest thing Judah lacks is composure. He folds when pressured (Baldomir, Mayweather, Cotto), and he gets overexcited when things are going well (Tszyu). Have you seen the way he fights when he gets a guy hurt? It is just painful to watch. He looks like an idiot winging those punches. Why does he not stick to short, fast and straight punches to take the hurt fighter out instead of resorting to throwing punches that most amateurs know better than to throw?Comment

You know what? I disagree.

I think with the right trainer, somebody like Mayweather Sr., who won't tolerate his **** while teaching him constructive things in camp and giving him good instructions in the corner, he can still be a top guy but I doubt it'll happen.Last edited by Silencers; 02-01-2009, 04:45 AM.Comment

Excellent a chance for Zab to get back in the mix!
Zab is a bit to quick and will be able to land big on Quintana and i dont rate Carlos' chin overly high Zab by mid round KO, probably in 4 rounds actually
I started a Zab Judah group if anybody id intrested in joining?Comment
