It may happen, but it's very unlikely, Gomez would have to be on his special night and be lucky to catch Vitali on a bad one or suffering an injury during the bout.
I do agree that Gomez is underrated though.

I don't think he'll lose against Gomez but anything's possible, upsets are a part of boxing.

I disagree. I think he is one of a few athletes to have the tools to pull off the upset. He has skills.
