Hiyas,
This is not intended to start a flame war with the Vitali loyals.
Ive recently seen the fight between Sanders and Rahman from 1995 and have noticed similarities between Vitali vs Sanders, lol apart from the fact before you say it that Sanders was fighting and it was a boxing match.
People say that Vitali has a good solid chin, I totaly disagree, as Sanders is not a real heavy puncher. In his bout with Rahman he hit him all night long with straight left hands and they had no effect on Rahman, who by the way is not well known for a good chin. Rahman on the other hand had Sanders, a 34 year old slim and fit looking Sanders down 3 times, Vitali didnt put him down once, questioning his own power. I think Vitali came along at the right time when oposition was none existant, the only decent fighter he has fought was a fat out of shape and unmotivated Lewis. Lewis was ****e that night and deserved to loose, but guess what he didnt he busted Vits face to shreads, and though Lewis behind on cards he was dishing out some very heavy damage to Vitali before the TKO, summed up quickly Vit was ass kicked by a lack luster Lewis and would have been KTFO in the later rounds had it continued. Now if thats Vitali's claim to fame being the nearly man its crap and meaningless.
When Vitali meets Williams I think we are all going to be shocked, well not all of us because many people believe that Williams will walk straight through Vitali and KO him in style.
Every time Vitali got hit by Sanders, who realy isnt a hard puncher, he blinked and screwed his face up and ran backwards off balance looking very gun shy, I tell you if he backs away from Williams even for a second he will wake looking up at the ref at the count of nine. Williams has got a devastating right or left hook and will be heavier than Vit on the night when not if he connects its gonna be lights out baby.
The only way i can see Williams loosing is if he lets Vit push him backwards all night.
