so yes he took the fight but not vitali lightly I think, they were building up to meeting 6 months later.

not an excuse though, think this is what convinced Lenn to retire to be honest, he couldnt get up for the likes of Johnson and Vitali gave him the fright and fight of his life.

people forget that... there's no doubt that lewis's preparation, or lack there of, was due to him fighting KJ not VK.... KJ had just lost to ruiz and had no business being in the ring with lewis....

Danny Williams vs Tyson was a piss-poor fight. Somebody had to win, but that fight was a real stinker. Williams claim to fame is that he didn't go down in that first round, which shows he can take a punch, much like Sanders, but Vitali has seen that type of chin before.

I don't care much for Vitali, but I'm guessing he's going to sting Williams early, and if Williams decides to coverup, even for a moment, the giant will rip him to the body and step back to let Williams wiff the air with big misses. It will Vitali, with his game plan, versus Williams with his heart and punchers' chance.

Passing note: This win against Williams will not cement Vitali as the Champ. He needs to go get some belts.

K2 productions is in line to negotiate with the winneer of Byrd & MCline. I know Byrd is a DK fighter but he on his way out of his contract and is pissed w/King. Might happen if they both win their prespective matches. (which is what will happen most likely)

          hello all,
          nice to be here.
I would like to try to represent Klitschko fans worldwide by not being what most think their fans are.. obnoxious and dillusional I like to be both of those, just not with boxing. The first time I watched Klit, it was Wlad. I saw his opponent scared out of his mind from experiencing a punch of Wlads. Now that could have been an inexperienced boxer, but hey! there had to come a white heavyweight that could at least win a few bouts (besides Botha, Golata etc). Then we see him get knocked around by Sanders like he was a beginner. OUCH

then we see VK who uses much more resources than his younger bro. He seems to actually dodge punches with his awkward style. He also has that Russian mentality like his mind is a steel trap. I don't know if you see it in his eyes, but it's like he's way out in left field from dedication and desire.

when he fought Corrie Sanders, I have to admit, I was afraid. Golfing must give you a hell of a punch, that's for sure. I think that Lewis thought VK was just like WK, so they were gonna do away with him just the same. but it turns out VK is like Homer Simpson pre Roderick Tatum. He does have a chin. well... You have to to have never been knocked down. like even I (150 lbs) could knock down a heavyweight with a lucky punch if they were off balance (and drunk, drugged, tired, hands tied behind back etc).

I watched the Lewis fight in detail and what I noticed is that Lewis' glove strings seemed to be what cut VK's eye. coulda been the thumb, but I think that the material that strings are made of can cut skin easier and to me that's what appeared to have happened. BUT I do agree about the facial structure and those Russians do bleed.

I hope that the Klitschkos stay in boxing for a while, cause they are top class fellas. They are smart, courteous, never talk bad about their opponents, and they like to help the world wide community. I know it sounds like Oprah, but I'm tired of little punks walking around acting tough hurting and killing people because their role model's act brain washes them... LOL

ok, i know, I'm opinionated, but still... we know they don't deserve the lashing that the fans provoke

sorry i'm typing so much, I've been trying to get into the forum for a while now.

Byrd - Glad he gives props to Jesus, but he does talk a lot of smack and his best attribute is dodging, which can help you win, but doesn't guarantee it. A rematch between him and VK will settle things if it is possible. Also it seems like both CB and VK are saying the other is dodging them.. who knows...

Williams - seems like a good dude. I do think that his knock out over Tyson wasn't very convincing (meaning I didn't see any knock out punches in that flurry he landed) and I think that Tyson, when not winning, just falls apart like a drunken Jenga. Either way, DW might have a chance if he can deliver his power early instead of mixing with Dr. Ironfist.

Glad to be here, i'll shut up now.

all heavy's have a chance to get knocked out. the good ones don't oratleast they come back strong. look at vitali, he has knocked out kirk johnson and corrie sanders in his last 2 fights. i think he was on his way to stopping lewis. vitali has a chin, he has power and he is hard to fight. he is legit. he can still lose, but he is legit. i think vitali ko's williams in about round 6 or 7. it will be a great fight though. it will be packed in the arena. germans, russians, ukrainians and brits. it will be awesome. plus all the other fans that will be there. it will be a great night and great fight.

Ok another few friendly questions if the last 6 rounds had went the same as the first and it ended at 8-4 on the scorecards is that a beating? If you win twice as many rounds as your opponent Id say thats a pretty good beating judges seem to think so also. I also notice that when people are talking bad about Klitschkos they talk about how easily they cut then on the subject of the Lewis loss talk about how bad Vitali got hurt because his face was tore up, if they cut so easily thats not really good assessment now is it? Kind of contradicts itself if you ask me.

Where is the contradiction? Klitschko's face got tore up, why? Because they cut easy, it's called bone structure, of course if a Klitschko fan could admit even after 2 years that their fighter lost, I, will be surprised, no, shocked would be a better word - but so far that hasn't happened and every Klitschko fan is still in denial and STILL talking about "but he was ahead on the scorecards" but, but, but, but, ----- he LOST face it! Klitschko moved on, I just wish their fans would do the same....

                    Im a klitschko fan.

Wlad punches himself out and got beaten by Purity.
Wlad got knocked silly by Sanders.
                    And he lost to Brewster.

Vit gave upp against Byrd, yes he lost.
                    This i all admitt.

But against Lewis he dident realy lose, acording to the queensberry rules if the bout is stopped due to damaged cause by illegal action such as edge of glove.
It is a technical draw if it is stopped in 1-4 round, and after that its sopossed too go too the scorecards like the wlad vs Williamson , in other words Vit Won.

And this is just how corrupt boxing has become.

Oh man, you almost surprised me, almost had me shocked, then - you had to go and blow it - with that illegal action B.S.!

In order for there to be an "illegal action" it would have to be determined by the referee, the officials at ringside or by the sanctioning body that such an illegal action occured - which DID NOT HAPPEN -therefore no "illegal action" - yet another Klit fan in denial....
