Maybe, but the damage seemed to accumulate un-naturally fast. One minute he was putting on a clinic, the next minute he was all busted up to ****. It just does'nt feel right. Marg has decent power but he's not that kind of puncher.

I think this whole thing is being blown out of proportion and its strange that they took the suspect padding or whatever it was but they still have no verdict on what it was.
its not the chin that was the problem..his chin is undrrated but my question is how did his face get busted so bad???never seen anything like that..and if his chin was weak he would have been knocked out..

My gut feeling is,.. he's guilty. Yes, I'm a Cotto fan and was devistated when Cotto lost to Margarito but I always respected Margarito as a fighter. I'm not looking for an excuse for Cotto's loss. I respected the way Tony fought through the trenches to pull off that win. I hope I'm wrong because it will be a black eye for the sport all around and not only that, there won't be a rematch. I had Cotto winning the rematch even before Margarito lost to Mosley. If they find him guilty in this fight, I'm sure he's done it before and his whole career would be "VOID" as far as I'm concerned. I wonder how his loyal Mexican fans are feeling right now? One more thing....I had Mosley winning the fight before it happened. "STYLES MAKE FIGHTS!"

It's assault with a deadly weapon bordering on attempted manslaughter.
If he did have plastered wraps I personally think the investigation should be in the hands of the police. I dont feel a ban from boxing is enough punishment.

Yeah you have to understand, the kind of damage loaded gloves would mean for Margarito. A man that relies on heavy handed blows, hooks and uppers at 100 plus hits per round…..Cotto would be more then messed.

Margarito wouldnt all of the sudden choose to cheat after years of working his ass off to get to where he is. He wouldnt destroy Cotto and then feel the need to cheat only against an old Mosely, a guy who everyone said he would walk through. Nope. He has cheated for years. No doubt he cheated against Cotto and many others. You dont dominate by playing fair and then all the sudden turn into a cheat at his age. Once a cheater always a cheater. He should be banned from boxing.
