    Watched Tony vs Cotto again....

I don't know dude. I want to give Marg the benefit of the doubt but if you assume he had loaded gloves, everything makes a lot more sense.

When I saw it live I thought it was amazing how badly Marg was hurting Cotto but I chalked it up to Marg just being a beast. In retrospect it just looks soooooo baaaad. Cotto was putting on an amazing preformance but all of a sudden I looked at Cotto like wtf happened to him? He was a ****in mess. Every punch Tony landed seemed to stay with Miguel.

What seemed amazing when I saw it live, seems fishy when I rewatch it. I'm bending over backwards on Margarito's behalf but it just does'nt look right. Cotto was soooo busted up out of nowhere. He was a complete mess. Bleeding from his eyes nose and mouth after one triple left uppercut. It was like Marg had hammers for fists.

I remember thinking at the time "jesus christ it's like Cotto is being hit with sledgehammers", in hindsight, I'm not sure he was'nt. I want to believe Tony won straight up but I don't know man. I can't lie to myself. It just plain looks like he had loaded gloves.

    Please any thoughts...

Cotto isnt known for his chin and he took solid shots from Margarito and uppercuts all night, but even when he wore out in the late rounds he didnt get knocked out, he took a knee and gave up. He gradually wore down at the time it seemed like the only advantage Margarito had was chin and conditioning/will. I think this whole thing is being blown out of proportion and its strange that they took the suspect padding or whatever it was but they still have no verdict on what it was.

We'll see what the tests say, if it finds that Margarito did have plaster in his wraps then it's entirely possible for him to have used them against Cotto.

In my heart of hearts, I'm convinced now that his gloves were loeaded. If not loaded, overwrapped. That fight is ***ed i'm tellin you. I love Marg but I think he he brought weapons into the ring that night.

I guess it's natural to have that su****ion. The only way to make it go away is if the ongoing investigation shows that Margarito did no wrong in his wraps against Mosley.

If he's found guilty the su****ion of him having loaded gloves in other fights will be there. But we will likely never know unless one of the members of team Margarito comes clean which is highly unlikely.

Well as of now it's not doubted by anyone that SOME kind of shananigans went on. If his hands were just wrapped wrong, ok, fine him. But if he had foreign objects in his gloves, me being a Tony fan won't allow me to pretend he should'nt be slapped with a lifetime ban. It's the worst possible violation a fighter can commit. It's assault with a deadly weapon bordering on attempted manslaughter.

I don't believe this ****. It's possible, but you'd think Cotto woulda been gone much earlier than 11 if Marg was usin loaded wraps. He took over in the 6th, but he was landin his uppercuts most of the night. It took a lotta accumulation for Cotto to go out, more than would be necessary if Marg's hands had sumthin on em.
