Lucian Bute is about to fight Fulgencio Zuniga. Yeah he earned a IBF title shot by losing to the great Denis Inkin in his last fight. Shameful!!! That's the best he can do.

Looks like his promoters weren't interested in a Andrade rematch. But I guess that's the safest route for steady cashflow coming in, fighting in Canada.
No,actually Showtime put Zuniga in there.I agree he doesn't deserve a chance but he is a ****er and makes for a interesting fight. It's more like a toon-up for Andrade which will happen after this one.Showtime wants it and the IBF gave Andrade his title eliminator.Regardless of Bute wanting or not he will have to figth Andrade

And the Anti-american thing is getting boring. Which is why the first post you made that caught my attention was a ****** post.

      Horrible poster....
When Green will beat a top 20 guy he will be relevant.Till then he can complain about the other bum ducking him.
And you know Taylor is gonna end him.

Mads Larsen turned down a shot at Bute. That left Bute scrambling to find another opponent for his March date. Hence Zuniga. The defense is volontary and Zuniga might be coming off a loss but he fought pretty good in Germany.

Yes,actually Larsen and Lacy turned him down and Showtime said take Zuniga or leave it.Offcourse he would take the tv date against a decent opponent.
And actually he is coming off a win in Columbia.

No I don't know that. I actually see it as a winnable fight for Green, though I'm not guaranteeing anything.....that would be arrogant. Taylor's been in with the best. I support Green not because he is one of the best ranked, I support him because he is severly UNDERRATED. And his skills are underrated and we all know he has the power.

Maybe. But his career lately hasn't been going very good.If anything he doesn't deserve a big fight. Not more than Froch at least.

It's just that I'm so dissapointed in Taylor. As I've stated earlier Taylor holds the keys to this division. HE is the one who can pick and choose any fighter he wants. He could have chosen Froch, Kessler or Bute. And he elects to fight Green. It's a big letdown for me.

Initially he refused to fight Froch and fought Lacy instead. I could understand that. He needed a confidencebuilder following 2 straight losses. After that he said he was ready for a championship fight (if I remember correctly). Enter Green and I'm like
I see what you are saying, bud. But Froch's record isn't exactly the bee's knees, either.
If Taylor did say what you are quoting as saying, then I understand your confusion, though.
I think it will be a damn good fight, though, between Green and Taylor.

Also, from what I understand, the Taylor-Green fight might be paired with Spinks-Latimore in St. Louis, which is guaranteed to do very good business. So, Froch doesn't really add much more to the fight than Allan Green, who is from nearby Oklahoma.
I've just discovered that Ward fights Henry Buchanan on Shobox on February 6 and is then being lined up for a fight with Glen Johnson at 170lbs. So Froch-Ward is a non-starter at present. Best Froch can hope for in the short term seems to be André Dirrell or Marcus Johnson - if either of them will fight him.

I don't know, look at the power Green displayed against Codrington and how easy Taylor has been to hit recently. I think Green might be too much for Taylor.

Taylor been in ther with BHop, Pavlik, Wright, and Lacy....I think he'll be able to handle anything that Green throws at him.
