He may have been caught cheating, we don't know that 100% yet (Although, it looks bad, and he probably was). What I mean is, there is no evidence of him cheating in the past, however we will all assume that he's been doing it, and write wins off.

Hence, he's guilty even if he's innocent.

I'm not saying either way just yet, i'm waiting for the investigation.

As for the latter part of your post, not really. Maybe you did just decide to try something, maybe Margarito knew Shane was more dangerous than many (Including odds-makers) thought.
