You can clearly see from watching him fight that he doesn't deserve #1 status
He's not good enough.
good fighters have beaten great fighters in the past... it happens
beating a great doesn't automatically make you great
but this is all redundant, as Pacman is gonna brutalise him

it'd be really disappointing to rate him over Pacquiao tho, but credit will be given due to respect. Hatton would be between 3-6, but really cant tell. he'd be lucky to land 3rd.

The thing is someone needs to explain to Hatton that one win doesnt determine your p4p status. Otherwise he's gona keep going on about this ****.
Why's De La Hoya talking **** as well?

Based on teh present top 10 he should moved to 6th, then upto 4th when Calzaghe and Bhop retire.
I'm not sure how Mosley who hasn't been top 10 in what 5 years? Manages to jump to 6 having beaten a fight who himself only made top 10 for the first time on the back of his last fight.
Then you have guys like Darchinyan who has been a belt holder for the best part of 3 years and just spanked the No1 in his division and doesn't even make top 10.

It is impossible to predict where Hatton would be if he wins. He'd be a lock for top 5 but theres some big fights involving fighters infront of him that can be won or lost. If JMM beats Diaz and Hatton beats Pac then nobody in their right mind could put Ricky infront of JMM.
Im taking a calculated guess here predicting Hatton and Diaz wins. P4P will probably look something like this IMO.
#1 Calzaghe
#2. Hatton
#3. Hopkins
#4. Pacquiao
#5. Vasquez
#6. Mosley
#7. Diaz
#8. JMM
#9. Rafa Marquez
#10. Calderon
