Its clear to me that Oscar vs. Pacman ws a setup for GBP to make $$ off Hatton-Pac!

I disagree since Oscar vs Hatton would have made a ton more money.

He would, but for the sake of argument...

Tell me a time that it made the MOST financial sense that Oscar opted to not fight a fighter on his roster?

For the record, even though Mayweather had to sign to him to fight him, I'll discard that.

No Oscar was just old and shot, the lower weight was just the straw that broke the camels back.

Oh and Ray Hatton said in public that the negotiations for pac-hatton didn't start untill after the Pac-ODLH fight.

I see that there are a few ppl on here that like to make up lies. Mayweather was never signed under GBP, de la hoya just had rights to his next fight. thats it!! That is difference then beating someone on your roster and damaging his marketbility.

Pacquiao vs Hatton is another setup to make millions of dollars, which it will.
Agreed, there was no setup. De La Hoya vs Pacquiao was to make loads of money, and the winner would fight Hatton for loads of money. De La Hoya didn't throw the fight at all, he was just terrible on the night and got completely outclassed.

No setup, all legitimate... the fight with Oscar and Manny was made to make millions, to lead to Hatton facing the winner... which turned out to be Pacquiao, nothing more... nothing less.

I didn't say he was apart of the promotional company. Don't put words in my mouth on a forum, because it's easy to facts check.

I said he signed to him, in order to fight him. Which by your own admission he did.

How about YOU try not making up lines.

He had to sign away promotional rights, which was my point. And if Oscar beat the hell out of Mayweather, wouldn't that have been technically bad marketing of a huge money maker for him?
