Its clear to me that Oscar vs. Pacman ws a setup for GBP to make $$ off Hatton-Pac!

He ****d Manny on the purse split...he wouldve did the same to Hatton.

What Im saying is this was a fight Oscar knew he wouldnt win..but it was necessary in order to make Hatton vs. Pacman.

That Oscar that night wouldve lost to Vivian Harris for Christ sakes.

DLH-Pac was supposed to be a setup for DLH's own big $ fight wit Hatton. He's lost before and been stopped once, but he's never been humiliated and destroyed like that. No way DLH set himself up to lose that fight.

why would he want to go through months of intense training and then step in the ring with a guy that is there to take your head off?

he owns golden boy promotions, hes going to make millions of dollars off hatton-pac...and hes not even fighting.

Yes, it needed to happen. But, I don't think Oscar thought he was going to get beat. Def. not like that. Just not buying it.

The bold is what every fighter is ACTUALLY supposed to be doing.

Yea, Oscar purposely got his ass whoop almost to death to a midget who is known as the mexican executioner.
              Brilliant.
This tops the "Maragrito took a dive" thread.
              Cong****.

But, realistically, anyone can win a fight. Maybe you don't know this because maybe you've never been in a possible LIFE AND DEATH competition before, but you don't just go in there and say.. Ehh ****. You fight. Even fighters fighting just for the payday take a dive in the first few.

Oscar got his ass kicked for 9 HARD rounds. Hardest of his career. You really think a guy as proud as a prize fighter wants to go out like that? C'mon.

Because in reality de la hoya had no intentions on fighting ricky hatton. He threw that notion out there to manipulate the public. If you watched last yr. when hatton fought juan Lazcano, in a pre fight interview with de la hoya said he had no intention on fighting hatton because he was ONE OF HIS FIGHTERS. (hatton is signed to GBP).
Anyone that watch that fight could tell that he threw the fight. Weight drained my a$$. I seen an interview last summer with de la hoya on access hollywood and they asked him what was his next big goal to accomplish and he said becoming a billionaire. oscar isnt thinking about making history in boxing anymore. Its all about the money.

LOL @ your lame conspiracy theory.

Oscar thought that despite having to come down to 147, and despite being past his prime, and despite being 35 years old...that he would still be able to beat the much smaller man in Pacquiao.

                      Guess what ?

                      He was dead wrong.

You're a fool if you think that the money he is going to make promoting a Hatton-Pacquiao fight is anywhere near the money he would've made had he beat Pacquiao and been fighting Hatton himself.

I'm willing to be that he's not even going to make 20% of what he would've if it had been him fighting this May.
