Gamboa has lots a skill but 2 cent brain. He has no boxing technique, no sense of defense to cover himself up. He is out there wide open guns slinging ready to brawl and get himself knocked out in the process. He has the talent to be real good but he needs to learn how to box. Maybe some better trainers would help that or then again maybe not.

Up against real opponents, he'd get his ass handed to him.

I dont wanna sound like im defending the guy, but i dont know how people can say he has a sub par chin. Yes he was put down 3 times, but one of those was by an elbow and he has not really looked hurt from any of the KD's. I see his defence as the problem, or lack of it.

            i get you

but listen man, if he had a good chin - he wouldn't of gone down (and was visibly stunned btw) none of those guys are monster punchers

Thats the most accurate analysis. I think because he knows he is better than most of his opposition he takes the kind of risks he wouldnt against a better fighter thus he gets caught out a fair bit. once he learns to treat every fight the same he will be cool

but either way, i'm not a fan nor hater so it doesn't really make a difference to me tbh.

i'll catch his fights, cuz i know i'll most likely see fireworks and someone's head bounce off the canvas

Where do people get that he has a bad chin? He has never been hurt by a punch. He has never been wobbled by a punch, he has never taken a count when he went down.
