How does one go about cheating while you are being watched by the commision?

If a magician can make things disappear and appear with you watching surely a seasoned trainer if he wanted to could slip something the same color as the tape and gauze into a wrap. The commission was on hand in the Resto incident. But if this was a non-issue it wouldnt have gotten this far, something was there, you can bet that.

I seriously doubt there was plaster in his wrap and the CSAC is taking pre cautionary steps to make sure too by testing the wraps. Thats why the Cali Crimininal Dept is testing them, they have the forensic tools to do so.. they arent criminaly persuing Margo.. just simpley TESTING the wraps....

Im confident that the guaze was what Marg's camp said it was, just pre used gauze, which isnt illegal..

Did you read the Naazim interview? He said it was plaster and it was bricked up with blood on it. Why would you need to use preused gauze, the cheapest thing you can buy.

I got to say, anytime I ever fought I had to cut my wraps off. It is impossible to just undo them. Im still reserving judgement, but things look pretty damning for Margarito one way or another.

I saw a fight where they basically pulled Marg's wraps off, I have it I think it was the Williams fight maybe, I can look to make sure.

If you cut them down the inside of the wrist to the hand you can pull them off. Other than that I can't see how it could be done. Then again I've been wrong before so who knows.

So youre saying that interview isnt real? I've talked to the interviewer before he isnt hard to find.

I remain neutral until the investigation is complete and I say again as I have in other posts, I hope there was no wrongdoing. But one thing that comes to mind is the gauze type of material they use for splinting. I injured my fourth metacarpal a few months back, and they have this hardening material that looks like gauze but contains hardening fibers in between layers. It comes in different sizes and they cut it to the desired length. It is soft like a pad or gauze until
they place it in warm water then they apply it, I read places that it starts to harden in ten minutes but from my experience it took closer to twenty. (probably depends on the size of the piece) Once it hardens it's rock solid, it is white like gauze and is relatively thin even when it solidifies. I still hold my reservations as to what exactly was found in the wraps but I figured some might find this interesting considering all the speculating goin' round.

I just don't get it. I've watched the video where Resto refuses to take his gloves off after the fight because his hands where wrapped illegally and padding was removed from the gloves. I just don't get how this happens though! Isn't someone from the athletic commission supposed to overlook the fighters and trainers while they are wrapping the hands?

Was Margarito's plaster mixed before hand or on the spot and if so why didn't someone catch this if it indeed happened? Is the commission that careless, and if they are then who knows how many other fighters rig there wraps to have an unfair advantage?

I don't like this doubt man.. This whole thing just ****ed things up for me.
If Margarito or Capatillo did indeed get plaster past the commission.. n would not have been caught where it for Naz, who knows how many times they have done it? Who knows if others have done it?
This puts a big cloud not only on Margarito but boxing.

I'm hoping Naseem was just crying wolf like he did against Tito because this puts our sport in a bad place.

Thats actually the main point I think about the whole situation. This is bigger then Marg/tito and other fighters. Everytime a fighter has been caught its usually the trainner of the opposing team who catches it. I haven't heard of any commissioned watchmen spot anything. This is why I feel that its very possible Marg has got away with it before, but now that am calmed down about it. I like to wait before the investigation is done to right marg off.
