Berto still has more to improve on and his recent victory over Luis wasnt even close to a dominating performance. Much respect for Berto willing to step in but Cotto is way more polished then Luis was IMO. Im never saying dont make it happen, I would like to see it.

Andre Berto is tailor made for Cotto to KNOCK him out. His face would fall right on Cotto's fists and I'm not a fan of Cotto at all but I'm sure in a
potential Berto/Cotto match up, Cotto knocks him out in the early rounds.

Let's hope our boy Cotto didn't eat plaster against Margarito and still has the brain cells to fight.
If he does then this would be a great fight.
We'll just have to wait and see what Cotto looks like when he comes back against Jennings though.

I was thinking the same thing reading some of the comments. I think Berto should step up especially since he has a strap on his waist. What is he waiting for? He has to learn sooner or later.

I dont get this "Berto isnt ready" stuff. Who can he possibly face to get himself ready for Cotto. He took on Estrada, the number two contender for the wbc belt at the time in Miguel Rodriguez, beat Steve Forbes and then Collazo who i felt he beat as well. It really doesnt get any better then Collazo before you hit the elite.

The man wants to fight the bests, is confident in his abilities and wants to be the best. Gotta love that. I personally think he's ready, and would love to see him fight Cotto.

                      This is very interesting.

IMO I don't want Cotto to fight Marg now and instead go for Berto.

Unify with Berto, while Mosley should unify with Clottey.

Winners fight each other in a superfight for WW king, sounds perfect !
