How is keeping an opponent at bay with the jab (when you have a HUGE reach advantage) after you almost knocked him out the previous round your best round?

Seriously, was there any doubt that Mayweather could outjab Hatton, especially when Hatton had little left after the punishment of round 8? His best rounds are the ones when he stood on the inside and wore him out with bodyshots and wrestling tricks. Or if you want round 8 and 10 when Mayweather used combos. But round 9 was just a jab showcasing.

that was like mosley over margarito....how he beat margarito at his own game (brawling)...mayweather beat hatton at his own game (clinching).....hatton came out alot tougher then expected because he did actually control the early tempo even if he wasnt winning rounds....the last 3 rounds were sickening mayweather was landing power punches at will snapping his head back....he also went against a hostile crowd

Hatton is my favourite boxer, but I gotta admit Mayweather was just in another league that night and schooled him, you can say the ref didn't help but at the end of the day ricky should of changed is game plan instead of steamrolling head first into Mayweathers punches, Definitly a good win for Mayweather. Although I would love to the see the rematch and confident of a different outcome :P.
