Couldn't! He tried to hold out. He was trying. I think he was out of his class. Also if he did put plaster in his gloves, and getting caught would definitely throw him off mentally. I really feel that if he was going to take a dive he would of done it earlier. Plus very easily he could of said in his corner after the 8th round that he couldn't take it anymore, and thrown in the towel, but he got up to fight again in the 9th.
