I Think Margarito Took a Dive!

margarito was thought to have the strongest chin because people love jumpin on bandwagon, margarito looked like he got buzzed in the 1st round of the santos fight and in the 6 round of the clottey fight so i don't know why people were makin it seem as if he couldn't get hurt **** kassim ouma took face shots from a bigger man in taylor for 12 rounds and never seemed hurt and he was fighting a bigger man. has margarito ever fought anyone bigger and stronger than him?Thank you! Like I said before, Margarito was considered to have the strongest chin. If he wouldve gone down after 2 or 3 rounds, it would've looked even more su****ious. He needed to make it look as real as ever, and he damn near succeeded in convincing anybody that had never seen any of his previous fights. But, all of us saw the punishment he took in the hands of cotto and he was walking through those shots. Cotto has been staggered in almost every fight he's fought. But Shane never really staggered him in their encounter. But all of a sudden, Shane staggers and ko's the strongest chin in boxing? GIVE ME A ****IN BREAK. The more I discuss this, the more I convince myself this **** was rigged.Comment

Exactly. Also, you have to take into account that Shane was not in on the fix. To him, it just looked like open season on Margarito's face. Alot of people might not accept it as a fix cause they think that Shane wouldn't have tee'd off on Marg's face if it was. DLH/Hopkins was fixed with both fighters in on it. They danced for 9 rounds and then they're was a nice safe ko to the body. No blood, no bruises and its pretty easy to fake a ko on a body punch.Comment

When I say "he was considered to have" the strongest chin, I'm not saying what we as hardcore boxing fans know. I'm saying what the general public and casual boxing fans thought. They thought, especially after the cotto fight, that Margarito was untouchable. We know better. We all saw what Clottey and Perez did to him. He had to sell this **** to the public, not to some guys on a forum.Comment

You actually in your heart think Marg threw the fight, took a dive? When I say "he was considered to have" the strongest chin, I'm not saying what we as hardcore boxing fans know. If you read the other 125 responses I have in this post, you'll see that I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that Antonio Margarito influenced the outcome of the fight that he had against Shane Mosley on the night of January 24, 2009. If you believe I'm wrong, explain your side. If not, don't waste my time.Comment
