A lot of people are dismissing this thread and its content without even considering it. Sometimes it really feels like NSB is filled with Lemmings. A lot of people are dismissing this thread and its content without even considering it. Sometimes it really feels like NSB is filled with Lemmings. Nearly the entire forum is turning a blind eye to the dark side of boxing. It's kind of cute actually how everyone shields themselves from the cold reality.

That's understandable because the love for boxing is great. But, they should at least look at the obvious facts first and understand that money overshadows everything in sports, especially boxing. We like to sit here and argue who's better, Mexicans, Puerto Rican, Phillipinos, Armenians, Floyd, Joe and all that. But the reality is, the fighters them selves put all that aside when it comes to making money. And they and will do whatever it takes to get paid, cuz if one fighter refuses, another one will. ESPECIALLY THE MEGA FIGHTS.

He probably knew that he was gonna be in trouble at that moment, and maybe his head was not in the fight. Even with that BS excuse he still would have lost. Sorry pal. Margarito has been in enough fights to know that there's someone from the commission either stands and watches hands get taped or they inspect it after. In this day and age, he couldn't have possible expected to get away with putting some illegal substance on his wraps before a huge fight and get away with it. If he was fighting somewhere in TJ, I can understand. But not in a fight of this magnitude, on this big of a stage.

What about the people that looked at the facts and geniunely believed that Margs didn't take a dive. If Margarito was taking a dive in my opinion he wouldn't have taken all thouse hard shots and got KO'd in the 9th. He was obviously on shaky legs and geniunely hurt.

If he was taking a dive he would have taken it at a much earlier point because Mosley was still unloading those huge right hands on him.

When taking a dive concern of getting hurt is near the bottom of the list... concern of making it look real is near the top. Stop being ******.

Thank you! Like I said before, Margarito was considered to have the strongest chin. If he wouldve gone down after 2 or 3 rounds, it would've looked even more su****ious. He needed to make it look as real as ever, and he damn near succeeded in convincing anybody that had never seen any of his previous fights. But, all of us saw the punishment he took in the hands of cotto and he was walking through those shots. Cotto has been staggered in almost every fight he's fought. But Shane never really staggered him in their encounter. But all of a sudden, Shane staggers and ko's the strongest chin in boxing? GIVE ME A ****IN BREAK. The more I discuss this, the more I convince myself this **** was rigged.
