If he was going to take a dive why didn't he take one of the handful of opportunity he had to take a dive, because no one would of bated an eye lid had he gone over from one of the earlier thunderous right hands Mosley was nailing him with.

He said that these 'smart money' wagers are common, although two factors have piqued the Justice Department's interest.

First, the amount of the wagers placed on Mosley was in great dispaity to the number of them. He said when alot of small wagers are made immediately prior to the fight they can be more easily dismissed as 'smart money' than a handful of very large ones. On Saturday, six separate Las Vegas casinos took wagers on Mosley at approximately 7:26 PST (right before the fight) totaling more than two million dollars.

Second, the FBI in Southern California has been investigating for some time the Arellano Drug Cartel's dealings with a number of athletic events, including boxing. The Arellano family has apparently kidnapped and held at ransom the wife or children of certain fighters in an effort to get that fighter to fix the fight. A former member of Margarito's management named Roberto Ramos is currently under investigation for being associated with the Arellano cartel.

Is it possible that Margarito threw the fight? I'm sure we'll being hearing more about this.

Margarito sucks... I bet mosley and most of the people in my gym bet mosley.. ive realized.. when it comes to fights .. the bookies dont always know the answer as to other sports like football and basketball

im pretty sure i remember margarito drinking water in between rounds, lol..

. I thought Margarito looked really su****ious in the fight, just standing in front of mosley and eating shots.

isnt that how marg fights? i'm pretty sure cottom was tagging marg with a ****LOAD of clean punches but they didn't have the same explosiveness of shane. shane was landing some wild **** all night and was moving marg with some of his shots.

dont act like marg wasn't throwing punches, he was. its just that he was getting hit harder than he always has and very constantly.

ive kind of defended marg in the past this is just pathetic bull**** if people are tyring to downplay shanes win. fact is, you hit a guy with enough shots, i dont care how tough you are, you are falling. marg took a ridiculous ammount of clean punches.

Please don't come up with some "hopkins and mosley showed veteran savvy and confused their opponents" garbage. You can convince your drunk uncle's with that, but not me. Its one thing to loose a slugfest, its another to stand in front of Mosley and Hopkins, hands by your side and get clobbered.
margarito has no ****ing head movement , in any of his fights.. usually u say some good stuff.. but right now i think dave chappelle is letting u borrow some of that stuff

I watched the fight live then i watched it the day after with me dad and he was like "that guy has got no right to be standing up after those shots"

So if he was taking a dive why the hell did he take so much stick.
