    good.

heard he has broken ribs and lost like 40% of his breathing capability.

teaches mofo's to stay out of the paint.

remember when drew fouled lebron like 2-3 times going into the hole.

the king didn't go in much after that......not when no. 17 is in the paint anyway.

The only divsion Floyd dominated was 130. Wins over Genaro Hernandez(which lost and quit against Oscar 3 yrs prior to Floyd)Corrales,Chavez , Carlos Hernandez and Manfredy established his claim as the dominant fighter in that division.

what consensus? this is your one BILLION dollars post about about floyd.

i wasn't even trolling , some guy on a p4p thread said floyd "owned" and "dominated" every division he was in.

i was arguing with him and the threadstarter got upset we were hi******* his thread so i just made a new thread to discuss it.

                  then everyone started getting prissy.

i think floyd beat the best guy (or next best guy in this case) at 130 and 135.

he never dominated either division though he was clearly the best fighter in his division.

his resume at 140 above is even more lacking than at 130 and 135.

i know someone is gonna say they avoided floyd or whatever but even so we're talking resume here.

fact is there was never a division where floyd fought 2-3 of the top guys in his division.

think about it he beat genaro in '98 who was top ranked then he the only other top guys i can think off at the top of my head is diego and maybe manfredy. i don't remember how highly angel was ranked though.
Hernandez Corrales, Manfredy and Jesus Chavez were all top fighters at 130. Castillo was the top guy at 135. Corrales was a monster at 130 and many picked him to beat Mayweather.Who else was he supposed to fight?

if you look at other fighters for example there were fights that should have been made that didn't but it's not as bad.

kostya for example doesn't have as good a resume as floyd but you can't say there was many fights that he didn't make. phillips rematch is about it.

even pacquiao , someone who has been in as many divisions as floyd one can't really say he missed out on a lot of opportunities to enhance his career except maybe at 122 where he could've gotten a fight with say a bones adams or paulie ayala.

problem with floyd's resume is he has great wins but he could've done so much more.

instead of gatti , beating kostya would have been better for the resume.

instead of zab , beating marg or cotto would have been better.

instead of chavez , beating casamayor would have been better.
id say pacquiao took a glorified name tour combined with tune up tour at 130........not as bad as say floyds 140 tour......but comparable to floyds 147 campaign......

                      pacquiao at 130-morales loss(good fight)-tune up-morales rematch(as justified as cotto-margo 2)-tune up-morales 3(really?...)-tune up-barrera 2(really?.....)-jmm 2(good fight).......thats 2 good fights in a 7 fight span..............and hilariously, the 6 fight run before jmm had him earning "respect" solely based on names.....

floyd at 147 fought #2(judah-though he shoulda been #5ish), the champ and a 140 champ(who had had a close win against a top welter)(and i hate hatton, think collazo beat berto, and i ithink hatton beat collazo)....
imo thats at least comparable seeing as floyd didnt fight 7 fights at this weight....

this got me thinking... you can compare pacquiao's and floyd's career further....

126 campaign for pacquiao pretty much only 2 fights worth mentioning.......but a hell of a two fights to have.....a great win against a top 3 p4pguy-a controversial draw against a guy hoovering the top 10 p4p....

mayweather's 130 campaign-very dominant wins over 4 of the top 6 guys in the weightclass......one a top 5 p4p and a guy hoovering the top 10....plus a solid prospect career......

pacquiao's lightweight run was one title and done...........much like mayweather's 140 run.......though at least pac didnt waste time in worthless tune ups......

mayweathers 135 campaign 2 wins against the top guy of the division(one good one controversial) also very comparable to pac's 126...but since thats taken, ill compare it with pacs one win over the top guy of the 122 division...and some solid career building fights.....

floyd has his one win over an old title holder oscar...
manny has his one win over an old drained-fixed(whichever one you'll chose) non title holder oscar......id say on paper, a very even win considering the circumstances for each man.....

and manny has of course his 2 early loss prospect career with a one respectable win(even more so because of the lineal reign) but not much else at flyweight..........

ii find em very even in terms of resume honestly.........the good thing for manny is officially he can still build upon his already good legacy..........

but this has got me thinking that floyd would be as respected as manny if his public image was as likeable as manny's(even though manny's good image is somewhat fake....)...............................so yeah basically, everyone who thinks their resumes are not even comparable and **** on floyd and praise manny are full of ****.....

and im not even a floydboy.....
