It doesn't matter. Hatton's geting clobbered. Pacquiao is simply a better fighter.

Oscar was stationary in that gif because he was in a daze. Right from the first round, he was hurt because he underestimated Manny.

I think it does. Oscar was shot to bits! Hatton at 140 is a different ball game.

Manny will get beat if HE underestimates Ricky! Real talk.

No, Oscar wasn't shot to bits at all, I refuse to believe that. Past his best? More likely. Not shot. He wasn't shot when he was bloodying Forbes' nose with 5 punch combinations and winning almost every round just 7 months before the Pacquiao fight. He wasn't shot to bits before the Forbes fight when pushing Mayweather to a split decision. So how did Oscar become shot? Grueling, punishing 12 round war? Brutal KO? Nope.

Could it be that Manny Pacquiao is just a ****ing brilliant fighter? I think so!

Forbes was rarely able to get inside De La Hoya’s reach or mount any sustained attack. Both boxers boxed at a high technical level, but De La Hoya was simply too fast, too strong, and too skilled for Forbes, as he pitched a near shut-out on the scorecards against the outgunned Forbes.
That was just 7 months before the Pac fight. I'm sorry to rely on BoxRec, but I needed dates and details. You don't become shot in 7 months without even having a fight.

Oh dear, and Steve Forbes isn't very good by the way. IMO Oscar is shot and i know you've got your Pacquiao tinted glasses on so it's all good.

Hopefully it's a good fight any road.

            P.S, i love you.

Hattons style of fighting is to come forward and stablish his inside game.. If he try this to Pacquiao i see him getting KO at the early rounds... One flash left = Bye bye Ricky...

It's nothing to do with Oscar being "shot".

Oscar was weak at the weight and poorly prepped.

Here's the inescapable. When the naturally much bigger man enters the ring a pound under the pipsqueak on fight night...you know something is not right.

That's the first time anyone saw De La Hoya looking like an outright punching bag in a fight. Which says a lot (and not necessarily all about Pacquiao's speed, which has been storied beyond the point of nonsense on this forum since December).

The reason I give Manny such a strong shot is the same reasoning other observers would likely use to deduct credit from the win if Pac gets it.

Hatton of 4 years ago crushes Pacman. This Hatton --- the post-Floyd version --- I'm not so sure.
Lazcano was able to shake Ricky up (despite being dominated for the most of the duration). Paulie hasn't got a lot on his punches (and, sadly, held more than he hit in their fight anyway).
What I've seen since December 2007 hasn't convinced me that Floyd didn't take a significant amount of durability out of Hatton. It makes this a fascinating fight to call, because it's possible to see how it could go either way.

You are correct. Pac really is much smarter than the vast majority of his fans.
