I think he boxed good in his last fight against Malignaggi . He started using his boxing skills , not going forward in straight lines like against Floyd . I think he could be getting better under Mayweather Snr . He doesn't look as if he's on the slide at all.
Manny Pacquiao Feels Ricky Hatton is "One-Dimensional"

This would be a good match up... Lets see if pacquiao can avoid hatton's body punch and let see if hatton can take pacquiao's powerful combos...
Its hard to say who will win and both have the chance to win by KO...
I guess pacquiao would win by KO or UD... Its because of his speed and power... Unfortunately if pacquiao cant avoid hatton's body shots and it will affect him greatly, then its hatton's night indeed...Comment

Clichés don't cut it. As has already been pointed out, Hatton did used to be more multi-dimensional at one time (e.g. against Tackie), and then he deteriorated. In his last fight he showed more head movement, angles, and used his jab better than he had for some time. Floyd Snr. doesn't so much need to teach him new tricks as bring out the talent that is already there, and give him a good game plan. If both fighters fight to their potential, it will be a great fight - Pac should win, but if he underestimates Hatton, and assumes he'll fight as one-dimensionally as he did against Mayweather, then I think he'll be in serious trouble.Last edited by Dave Rado; 01-28-2009, 04:03 AM.Comment

You can watch it starting here if anyone's interested. I agree that he certainly didn't look one-dimensional in that fight.Comment
