Manny Pacquiao Feels Ricky Hatton is "One-Dimensional"

If you disagree with all the experts, that doesn't mean you will automatically turn out to be wrong and they will automatically turn out to be right; but it certainly doesn't mean the opposite either. More often than not, it does mean they will be right and you will be wrong, that's why they get paid a lot of money for their expertise and you don't. So when you find yourself disagreeing with all the experts, you should have some humility, and admit to yourself that while you are entitled to your opinion, you'll probably turn out to be wrong.

Don't get me wrong, I do agree with most of what they say, I do agree with most of the P4P lists. I just would not put manny at the top; although I do regard him highly as a boxer.

Pac has the footwork and defense to avoid all of Hattons weapons...
again the deciding factor will be Pacman's speed. Pacmans speed again will be too much. Hattons mediocre defense is not going to be effective against Pacman's speed. Everyone is looking from the perspective of how Hatton can beat Pacman... but look at all the ways Pacman can beat Hatton. Pacman has a lot more advantages in this fight.

The point I have been making is that the P4P list is theoretical. The so called experts come up with it, but it does not mean I have to agree with it. Don't get me wrong, I think Manny is a great boxer, but I have been seen him outboxed too many times and given gifts to put him at the top of my list.

I think people are getting over excited after mannys fight v oscar, but you have to remember that coming down in weight is a lot harder than going up. Just look at Roy Jones. In fact there is the danger that manny has to come down in weight slightly.

Watch Hattons fight v the Magic man and see how much huggin he really does. It was Malignaggi who was doing all the huggin.

We have to be realistic here & use our common sense...yes i have to agree that we're not really sure what to happen nxt...but since we have come up w/ these different & common observations based on experts as standards...but qouting that u think people are getting over excited after mannys fight v oscar, i disagree w/ u, ever since the dream match fight manny is already a superstar because of his style & explosiveness, a very exciting fighter and everybody wants to fight him & most people want to watch him cause his the man...thats why Oscar wants to fight him & fell victim to it, he suffers the unexpected...likewise most fighters are interested to fight him....

You have a point there... Since all that have been said and told are just speculations, until the fight time comes, we will be able to know if these predictions base on both fighters performances on their previous fights is true or not...

one fight you look outstanding because of your opponent when its two fights in a row it cant be luck. you have to understand that pac looked impressive in his lat two victories because he knows that to be able to be successfull moving up the weights he has had to improve his overall skill. he cant just blow fighters out because he is comming up against bigger opponents. he has become an all round better fighter.

I think the "one dimensional" that Manny stated is blown out of proportion by many. What he really means is that Ricky fighting style is to come forward and brawl which fits for him because Manny love to fight toe to toe.

Hattons A Beast

Pac will be surprized by the strength of Hatton. Sure he beat up on fools his own size and an obviously depleted Oscar who was'nt even throwing punches or defending! Ricky will definately throw punches and is a beast at light welter. This fight will definatelty be exciting. Get Em Ricky!!!
