The so called experts who said the Hopkins would get killed off Pavlik, when it was obvious Pavlik was a one dimensional fighter. I guess right now they are stating the obvious since pac has power and speed that will certainly overwhelm hatton... If hatton can take those powerful combos from pacquiao then its game over for pac... Since hatton will just take them and he will unleash his powerful body shots that will certainly wear pacman down... Other thing is that hatton would go inside as his gameplan then give body shots while clinching... Surely that will deliver a blow to pacquiao...

Unfortunately if:
1. pacquiao's combos are strong enough to weardown hatton
2. he was able to get away from clinchigs style of hatton
3. He can take hatton's body shots or was able to avoid them

then its pacquiao's win either by UD or KO...

If then they will fight toe to toe, i'll go for pacquiao since his hand speed will deliver 4-5 blows while hatton would only give 2-3...

most observers viewed margarito as the favorite bcause of the age & popularity...u have to consider & look at the resume of margarito compared to mosley...mosley is a former P4P King & beaten elite champions, the speed & power is still there...i bet for mosley at this time & i'm right cause he won, where margarito is somewhat similar to hatton style always charging...only difference between them, i'm amazed w/ margarito's very solid chin...

hatton fans be worried pac is reaching or is at his peak. Hatton is one dimensional but still very dangerous. if hatton does not establish an attack early, or if pac manages to withstand hattons infighting then its over for hatton. it will be down to speed, pac is just to fast.

IMO Manny is not the P4P king, he may be the P4P most entertaining fighter but he is not the P4P best. Look at his record. 3 defeats, and that is excluding his gifts against marquez, or the many other times where he has been outboxed.

Manny has a week body. His 2 KO losses were by body shot. Hatton is the best body puncher in the business and he will take Mannys stength and speed away.

Hattons has been defeated once and that was by the TRUE P4P king.
You will see on fight night that Manny will win the first couple of rounds until Hattons body punches start taking effect. Hatton will take over from the 3rd round and will stop Manny in the 7th.

Yes, i agree w/ u in some point but the P4P list is a written fact based on many factors viewed by many experts...while incoming fights viewed as instant observations based on their immediate glance like Dela Hoya(bigger) vs Manny(smaller)...but the fact that Pacquiao is the one defied the odds in their dream match, so the case is much different in favor to Pacquiao cause Hatton has the same size w/ Pac & Pacman fought & beaten elite champions way ahead of hattons resume...

The point I have been making is that the P4P list is theoretical. The so called experts come up with it, but it does not mean I have to agree with it. Don't get me wrong, I think Manny is a great boxer, but I have been seen him outboxed too many times and given gifts to put him at the top of my list.

I think people are getting over excited after mannys fight v oscar, but you have to remember that coming down in weight is a lot harder than going up. Just look at Roy Jones. In fact there is the danger that manny has to come down in weight slightly.

Watch Hattons fight v the Magic man and see how much huggin he really does. It was Malignaggi who was doing all the huggin.

If you disagree with all the experts, that doesn't mean you will automatically turn out to be wrong and they will automatically turn out to be right; but it certainly doesn't mean the opposite either. More often than not, it does mean they will be right and you will be wrong, that's why they get paid a lot of money for their expertise and you don't. So when you find yourself disagreeing with all the experts, you should have some humility, and admit to yourself that while you are entitled to your opinion, you'll probably turn out to be wrong.
