No I'm saying it doesn't prove **** either way. It wasn't the California commission that caught it, it was Richardson. Who's to say the Vegas commission paid any more attention.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist, I'm not 100% convinced Margarito cheated in the Cotto fight.

However, THIS clearing him is bull****....this doesn't say anything and is just as circumstantial as the evidence against Margarito.

he had him re-wrap because margarito already had his left hand wrapped. The rules state the trainer can wittness the wrapping of the hands and since one hand was already wrapped, Richardson asked to re-wrap so he can be a witness. During the re-wrapping that's when he noticed the substance, Richardson asked if he could touch it and they started getting all pissed off about it, finally he was allowed to and felt it was a hardened substance.

Richardson was only doing his part to protect his fighter.

This thread doesn't prove anything. What was the point of this article?! Honestly, if you ask me...I think it is impossible to prove Margarito did something illegal against Cotto. Even if he left his handwraps on...you'd have to cut it to find out. So really we can't pin anything against Margarito durin the Cotto fight...Jus go with what you believe. I dont know what to believe but lets see what happens

Do you think people usually get caught the first time they cheat or the 10th or 20th? My guess is the 10th or 20th. This time they just ran into someone who was smart enough to pick up on it. It's not like he wrapped his hands in barbwire, I'm sure it's possible to miss it.
