It went right under his nose and if it wasn't for Richardson, no one would have known. Complete and utter B.S.

I now have a very strong feeling that this is about to be swept under the rug. Well us fans will always remember this ****.
i agree there, with ufc and mma getting so big, the last thing boxing needs is this cheatin **** happening on their watch.

yep. I've been feeling really good about our sport too, with how well the tickets sold to that fight, HBO only doing quality match-ups/less PPV's this year, etc. This would be a huge blow imo to the integrity and professionalisms of our sport if no actions are taken.

i was watch espn news the other day and they had reporters on there saying how boxing is dead and ufc has taken over. that **** pissed me off cuz they dont know **** about boxing in the first place. but yes its great to see hbo putting only quality fights on and tickets being sold, it shows that boxing will never die! it was also great to see all the stars coming out to see a great non ppv fight

"You can't prove a negative," Kizer told SI.com. "But I'm as certain as I can be that Margarito did not do anything illegal against Cotto."
The Nevada commission isn't even 100% sure. How are you going to go back a year and find out how they taped their hands?

I'm not one who's pinning my hopes on it because a loss is a loss, take it in stride. But I'm a firm believer that if he did it for the Mosley fight, it wasn't the first time (especially considering Mosley wasn't supposed to be as dangerous coming into the fight as Cotto was last July).

This is nothing more than a CYA move by NSAC. With Margarito getting caught so red-handed (or plaster handed, if you prefer), NSAC knows they are now exposed for possibly missing the same thing. If NSAC were to admit to anything, they could be exposed to lawsuits or possible other legal sanction. This is nothing more than an attempt to sweep things under the rug without a full investigation so that they can cover their asses from possible charges of negligence.

It may not be provable that Margarito cheated against Cotto like he attempted to against Mosley, but it's far to early to say that he didn't.

Personally, I think this should be a criminal offense and that it's time to get Margarito and his various trainers in interrogations rooms, separately, and get them to talking. Let's see what kind of beans spill then.
