I dont feel very good about the respect i lost for margarito

I have always ripped on margarito for his skillset and how limited it is, i always hated on the fact that i felt that he wasnt as avoided as everyone made it out to be. But it dissapoints me that now, i have to respect him less because he plastered his hands in lord knows how many matches. There are some of you here that take great joy in this event, i dont, because i paid money to see margarito/cotto, i expected to see two EVENLY MATCHED fighters and now his win over him is tainted for me personally, here is why.

Mosley IN NO WAY punches harder than cotto, Cotto was throwing absolute bombs, but boxing is mental, Margarito had to know he had an advantage and he had to know that eventually cotto was going to break down, the wear on cotto was obvious in the second half of the fight. Margarito is NOT a big puncher, thus he relies on accumulation. You notice how in this fight, he had a look he had never had before, like maybe this time he wasnt going to break the guy down. I sincerely think he cheated during that cotto fight, and it dissapoints me to feel this way because i respected the guy for doing all he had with such little natural talent. Now i know he likely cheated his ass off for who knows how many fights. That isnt right and it hurts our sport.

I would like to see the final verdict regarding the Mosely fight before I make any further conclusions. It's a damn shame, though.

I ain't a Margarito fan either but it hurt me in knowing this. I try to ease up and joke around a little but I do know how serious this is

Shane didint carry his power from 135, thats my opinion, i guess i dont watch boxing. Dude was never a big puncher at 147 or 154. The knockouts of vargas and mayorga werent that special to me because...it was vargas who hadnt looked good in ages, and mayorga, who again, hadnt looked good in ages. This is the first time ive seen shane knock someone out to the point that i had no idea it would happen.

I feel Cotto is a stronger puncher than Mosley, if that ruins my credibility as a fight fan to you, i can live with that.

How much respect do you have for Mosley who used steriods? And where was your post about his steriod use?

You should also know that Margarito was able to take Cottos shots because he had plaster in his head - true story.

And the commission asked him to re-wrap his hands 3 times, so yeah all three times in front of the commisioner he used plaster. You fools should know it was a Hopkins trick that Mosleys camp adapted.
