shane can easily be outboxed. shane makes a lot of mistakes when throwing punches. i think mayweather has a chance to KO him.

so i dont want to hear nothing about ducking.
and style wise Floyd would do mosely worst then winky.

"size dont won fights, skills win fights"
SIZE DOES MATTER, BECAUSE WINKY WAS ABLE TO KEEP MOSLEY OFF OF HIM BY BEING STRONGER. FLOYD ISN'T STRONGER, AND SKILL WISE, MOSLEY HAS MORE SKILL THEN FLOYD OVERALL. PERIOD. MOSLEY WOULD JAB JAB JAB, THEN CATCH HIM WITH THAT RIGHT OR LEFT HOOk. THEN IT'S BACK TO RETIREMENT TO FLOYD FOR RUNNING LIKE A ***** FOR THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS.

SO WHATS THE POINT OF FIGHTING FLOYD AT WELTERWEIGHT IF HE NEVER FOUGHT NOBODY?

WHY WOULD YOU FIGHT A MEDICORE WW, WHEN YOU COULD FIGHT THE "REAL elite WELTERWEIGHTS" like you guys like to say..?

The Haters in General, have a real **** up Logic..that they even know works against them

          According to the boards:

          1. Floyd never fought any good welterweight.
          2. Floyd wasnt a impressive welterweight champion because he didnt look impressive At the weight and was boring and didnt fight nobody.
          3. Ricky Hatton is a great win at 140 and a terrible win at 147.
          4. Ricky Hatton wasn't a real Welterweight Champion because he didnt look impressive when he won his title.
          • So Commonsense would lead you to believe listening to some of these people on here, that Floyd's Run at Welterweight just like Ricky Hatton's wasnt impressive....Because they never fought anybody....

          SAY THIS IS TRUE..!!!!

If Floyd wasnt a impressive welterweight champion because he never fought any good welterweights....

What does a Floyd win at welterweight mean for a fighter like (Margarito,Cotto,Mosely,Berto,Clottey) if he wasnt impressive at welterweight???

What does a win over a fighter who wasnt impressive at Welterweight Means?
          • Does it mean you beat a mediocre Welterweight?
          • Does it mean you beat a fighter who didnt belong at Welterweight because most of his career was at 135 and under?
          • Does it mean you beat a fighter who never was impreesive at Welterweight anyways?

Then Why would someone fight floyd at welterweight if he was a mediocre Welterweight according to some of you guys...??
          • Why not Fight a career welterweight like Margarito, Cotto, Williams, Clottey, etc.

          According to the logic.
          • a win over Williams should be more impressive than a win over Floyd.
          • a win over Cotto should be more impressive than a win over Floyd.
          • a win over Margarito should be more impressive than a win over Floyd.
          • a win over Mosely should be more impressive than a win over Floyd.
          • a win over Clottey should be more impressive than a win over Floyd.

Because they are all career welterweights and resumes more impressive then
          Floyds at Welterweight.
          • Why not fight Floyd at 135? <<< he was the man in this division
          • Why not fight Floyd at 130? <<< he was the man in this division
          • Why not fight Floyd at 140? <<< he was ducked in this division

Why fight Floyd at welterweight if he was no good there???

          • Margarito walks around at 180+ pounds and he fights at Welterweight
          • Cotto walks around at 160+ pounds and he fights at Welterweight
          • Clottey walks around at 180+ pounds and he fights at Welterweight
          • Williams walks around at 170+ pounds and he fights at Welterweight
          • Hatton walks around at 180+ pounds and he fights at Jr. Welterweight

Floyd walks around at 150, and so you cant say he cant fight at Jr.Lightweight, Lightweight, and Junior Welterweight.....

If Margarito, Cotto, Williams, Clottey, and Hatton can walk around at 20-40 pounds above there fighting weight and still fight at their divisions...I think Floyd can do the same....

According to the logic on NSB, My Question is What does a win over a fighter who wasnt impressive at Welterweight Means?

Offensively Floyd, 'place' his shots, he is not just wasting energy throwing punches. Even when he is in these defensive stances he is looking for well placed shots in the middle of the other boxer's flurries Notice that his eyes are wide open and they are seeing everything that is happening.
With many other top fighters this is not the case.
            • It is a natural reflex to close your eyes when an object is coming at your face and great boxers train to counter this tendency.

Shane Mosley closes his eyes a lot and flinched when he is about to get hit and vice vesa. and that is THE WORST THING EVER TO DO AGAISNT A FIGHTER LIKE Floyd, he would eat Pot shot all night. Floyd would a wide decision.

Remember Floyd been calling shane out since 2002. And remember shane didnt want to fight floyd back then remember the "toothache" story.I dont really want to going in on shane right now....but trust me, Shane style is perfect for floyd.

SHANE MOSLEY is the number #1 Welterweight in the world.
Congrads to him. I hope he just decides to go out on top

                Like I said before

This fight makes no sense NOMORE!!.

Mosely had his chance and blew it, when he said he had a toothache and his family needed a vacation after the vargas fight when MAYWEATHER PUBLICY offer him a fight. and even before that Mayweather was calling him out for 3 years straight.

Mosely your chance is gone to fight mayweather. If Mayweather fights mosely and wins...So what? What does it mean? NOTHING! Unless Mosely becomes the undisputed Welterweight champion (the ring belt). Because that will prove something if they fought.

Shane was in his prime, the top dog in the sport and Mayweather wanted to fight him then.

But Mosely brush off Floyd, and now that he is old as **** and beat that punchingbag Margarito he wants to fight floyd now when there is no risk involve.

When Mosely was in his prime. A Mosely and Floyd fight made sense because they would have both got full credit for the win and one of them would have known that the other fighter beat them in their Prime. NO EXCUSES...

Mayweather call out De la hoya and Mosely for 3-5 years Straight and they both JUST brush him off like a little nigg@.

Well now that Floyd's the man, Mosely wants to fight when he now has 5 loses and old as hell...This dude is a clown. fa real, he is trying to get over and it is not going to work. Like floyd said "I dont fight sparring partners"

                Like I said before:

STOP HATING, and give respect where respect is due.
Floyd has done something that hardly nobody has ever done.
Walk away from the sport on top, and people cant stand it.

He is like barry sanders in that reguard.
He left when they was no doubt who the best was and is.

Their is no unfinish business, because their are no undisputed champions out there to fight.

The only fight that makes sense right now is Pacquaio. because he is the pound 4 pound #1 fighter in the sport.
everybody else in the sport need to make a name for themselves.
move up 4 weight classes, AND BECOME A Undisputed Champion in 3 Divisions (The Ring Belt)

and then ask for a fight.

I say floyd only comes back to fight Pacquaio or a undisputed champion in a division.

                PERIOD

Mosley took De La Hoya instead. That was a smart move because it boosted him up the ranks to become a known fighter. Also, it was a great pay day. He got much more out of it then what he would get by fighting Mayweather. However, Mayweather has ducked Margarito and Cotto. His excuses for Cotto were "he's not a marketable fighter". What happened to the Floyd who fought anyone and everyone out there who was considered a threat?

Can't the same be said for Cotto and Margarito though? When both age and if they eventually fight Mayweather, won't people be saying "Mayweather should've fought Cotto/Margarito in their prime instead of ducking both."

Was Cotto and Margarito considered sparring partners too? Mosley is far from a sparring partner. He is very skillful and much more powerful than Floyd. Mosley was and still is a threat to Mayweather which is why Mayweather has kept his distance from this possible match-up. Mosley never ducks anyone! Mayweather does!

Well actually, I only lost respect for Floyd when he let the fame and money get to him and when he started ducking Cotto. Before that he was one of my favourite fighters. If anyone is hating, it's you hating Mosley. That's a fact!

Ummm...Mosley's resume is better than Floyd's. Mayweather fought a way past his prime De La Hoya who some call "shot" and Mosley fought De La Hoya when both were still in their primes. Floyd fought a natural junior welterweight in Hatton. The Hatton win was impressive but the De La Hoya one wasn't and both of them weren't against the top contenders out there. Cotto was the hungry man and Mayweather refused to fight him...

Mosley is a great fighter but no way is he the boxing technician that Mayweather is. Not to take anything away from Mosley but he just finished beating the crap out of a walking punching bag with zero skills.

Mayweather is on a different level. Yea, hes got a mouth and a huge ego that makes plenty hate him but you know what, he has the skills to back it up. Mayweather can slip punches like nobodies business. He has the lightning quick reflexes that make him an unbelievable counter puncher. His defense is like no others. The only thing Mosley has on Mayweather is power. Mosley has a lot of holes in his game and Mayweather would pick that **** apart; he's only the most accurate puncher in the world.
