Oscar was an old great getting the crap beaten out of him by a prime great

Margarito was a prime champ getting the crap beaten out of him by an old great

although at face value the Manny - De La Hoya fight was more one sided

I'ts gotta be the Oscar fight, him coming in underweight has nothing do do with it....everyone expected him to be like 160 lbs.

Shane hasn't looked shot, just a bit past it.

Oscar quit..he got beat so bad...

Margarito lost because he's ****** and likes to block shots with his chin.

This is tough for two reasons one Margorito was basicly built by hype and a rep for being a ruthless fighter that could handle what seemed like exactly what he dished out. That was proven saturday but not in the way margorito his fans or boxing wanted...The man was proven ruthless by trying to smuggle in illegal weapons basicly into his gloves and HBO said that they made him change them three times not just once three times, how many was the substance on for **** sake? Then to make it even worse he was utterly picked apart and beaten like a bum. So all that hype was destroyed his whole image and skills were exposed and he looked worse than Jones did against Joe, I mean Jones knocked him down and stood bleeding til the finish line, if anything Jones proved his chin and heart had been underated in a loss. Margorito tried to cheat and was punished right in front of our eyes and Ko'd none the less by a 4-1 under dog.

Oscar on the other hand should have probably thrown caution to the wind and tried and got ko'd or took a knee or someting instead of quit on the stool. But make no mistake Pacman fought a brillant fight and oscar looked like he was weight drained and even against forbes was kinda clear he wasnt the same fighter as before and was just worked by a lighting fast fighter in his prime with alot of power. It was worse than Jones to me as well simply because Oscar looked almost as helpless as Pavlik did against Hopkins he was just smoothered and had no chance whatsoever.

End of the day Margorito is my answer....not even Tyson fell that fast it took Buster Douglas prison Evander & Lewis to shatter his reputation and Mike took some beatings, yes he did bite Evander but no one believes that Holyfield wasn't butting be it accident or on purpose atlleast we knew why Mike bit him. Evander was butting a foul (Cheating) so Mike bit him a foul (Cheating)...Margorito was cheating before the fight even started. I think that has to be the worst night of that guys life.

DLH by far. He didn't want to come out against the much smaller man.

Tony chose to face his conqueror until the very end.

I think Margs landed a clean shot or two on Shugs in every round, whereas DLH landed maybe 1 or 2 on Pac during the whole fight.

Oscar was past his best and weight drained (not taking anything away from Manny) but those are the facts.

Margarito was coming off his best win ever and was on top of the world

The loss Margarito suffered was his worst

All I kept hearing was how so many people picked DelaHoya over Paquiao and about how he was critized for being so much bigger and everything. As opposed to the Margarito/Mosley fight where although Margarito was favorite to win, people were definately not hating on him for accepting to fight Sugar Shane and this was no mismatch. So Oscars' loss to me was worse.
