Cotto might get his ass kicked by Margs but then turn around and beat Mosley again. Some guys just don't match up well for their strengths. Doesn't necessarily mean Cotto's a joke IMO.

margarito had my grudging respect after making cotto quit because I thought cotto would take it, but i was never on his bandwagon.

i hoped that shane would win, but his performance against mayorga was subpar imho and therefore it was justifiable to make margarito the favorite in this match up. thats not bandwagoning imho.

I am still not a Shane Mosley fan.. I gave up on him when he took performance enhancing drugs (notice how ONLY the people who get caught.. are always unaware they were taking roids ??)

I have now given up on Marg because he got caught cheating too.. Once you cheat.. everything you have done in the past comes into question..

SO it's natural that Cotto fans now question if their boy was played fairly.. and rightly so.. The effectiveness of Marg's punches from one fight to the next was quite noticeable.

If you look at the majority of the threads you will see Margaritos name in the title alot more than the actual winner of the match. Its about a Margarito losing, not Mosley winning.

To me, no. If he beats Cotto again I'll give him props. But honestly, there will be people that will never let Margs live this one down. It puts a big black cloud over his career.

Steroids should have put a GIANT cloud over Shanes career and i dont see no one bitching about it....

I was impressed by him after the Mayorga fight, and figured he would at least outwork Margs somewhat comfortably over 12 rounds. But there is no way in hell I would've predicted a KO - I was still under the illusion that the rock-fisted one had a rock chin.

So consider me a Shugs bandwagoner, but not because of this fight. After he dispatched Mayo, I had a look at some of his other work and became an instant fan. Him beating Margs just solidified that for me.
