Why was The Torrance Tornado's chin glorified????

He was a 1 division fighter with the lone exception of the Santos fight in which he failed. Why the hype not just now that he lost but before this fight about his chin?? I can understand if he moved up in weight and took on dudes in different divisions but he fought guys in his division, its not like he was taking flush shots from Tyson and smiling back.......


Hopefully things will be brought into perspective and Tony will be mentioned as a hard nosed fighter with heart and tremendous will but seriously lacking boxing skills.To think that a writer was making predictions on Margarito vs All time great WW's.................unbelievable.

Cuz he proved it in the past. As good as SSM fought, he woulda beaten him whether or not his chin's been eroded, so he can't use that as an excuse.
