Apparently Hatton is not a 147 pounder when he loses, but he is a 147lbs when the contract is on the table. I dont think the 147lbs weight limit is that big of an issue, its just Hatton fought two fighters that were his kryptonite. Mayweather was obviously levels above him and Collazo was a good counter punching lefty.
It gets on my nerves when Hatton says **** like im not a 147lbs when he loses, but he keeps taking fights at that weight. I would not be suprised if he goes up there again if the money is right.
Hatton looked like a LMW against Malignaggi. Malignaggi actually looked like a true 140lbs.
you're wrong. clearly you can't see hattons greatness at 147. he knocked down collazo. REMEMBER? REMEMBER?
hatton is so good they should rename welterweight : HATTONWEIGHTComment

I might be in the minority, but I think Hatton could still fight at 147 providing he keeps working with Floyd Snr. Hatton's boxing skills and speed are underrated, but he started to forget to use them after the Kostya fight and started to believe that he could just bulldoze his opponents without really using his brain. Hopfully now Floyd snr will be able to help hone Hatton's skills, and get him back to the level he was when he fought Kostya, so he doesn't have to rely on his strength to win fights. I think he can. There were signs he was getting there against Mallinaggi, and hopefully a full 12 week training camp with Mayweather snr will see him improve enough to beat Pac.Comment
