ummm...In as much as i love Mosley, i don't see that happening...let's keep it real. It's not a bad match or anything....infact, i doubt Williams will break Mosley, but he will definitely..i repeat...DEFINITELY beat shane by decision...UD @ that.

This is a fight Shane should not take, and he can make up valid reasons not to. This is not like the Marg fight, where everyone was doubting him, but knew there was a possibility of an upset. Which can to pass. But Williams is a monster. He can be callous at times when fatigued, but it never stops raining punches...punches from all angles @ that. Shane cannot outwork this man, and he can't tie him up like he did Marg.

So wait....Mosley knocks out the supposed baddest mofo around and the first yelling Mosleys name is Paul.

Paul Williams said Margarito didn't land anything yet hbos punche stat said that Margarito landed like 108 punches while Mosley landed a total of 178 punches, so if Hbo's punch-stat is correct... Plaster could have effect the outcome of this fight...

Williams deserves his shot at Welterweight supremacy. Someone needs to step up before he passes over the division for good.

Who would have thought the possibility of Winky, Bhop and Mosley getting wins over top opposition.

Williams should move up and pick on someone his own size
Since when did height or reach determine the division people fought in? Are you saying Thomas Hearns should have started his career at heavyweight? Or that Mike Tyson should have been a middleweight? Get real! Williams can still make 147 easily, and will fight any elite fighter in the division who has the guts to face him, so he should be rated at Welterweight.

And Williams getting past Wright is no guarantee.
I agree Williams-Wright is a pick 'em fight. Mosley doesn't have a great track record against tall fighters, but with Nazeem Richardson to help him with his game plan, who knows? It could be a real classic, like Leonard-Hearns. Given Mosley's reputation for never ducking anyone, it would be a terrible shame if he were to duck Williams. I hope he doesn't, as much for the sake of his reputation as for the sake of boxing, which needs the best to fight the best.

yup, winky wright whom by the way fought last time back in july 21 in '07...a loss to bhop in 170lbs...yup. Williams has balls

Williams needs to stop trying to talk his way into money fights and let it come in time. No one wants to give him anything because he talks a lot of Shaite and got a lucky shot against quintana and thinks he's the man. Quintana asked for the rematch and nothing, clottey wanted a piece and nothing. He wants big names for money and not legacy. If anything stay on a dang class and work ur way up the rankings

After his hiding in their last fight, Quintana needs to beat someone good before he can credibly fight Williams. Williams wants to fight Clottey, and Clottey wants to fight Williams, it seems to be boxing politics that has stopped that happening, not the fighters.
