All i gotta say is that if you compare how the fighters looked after fighting margarito prior to cotto, let's say cintron, clottey, williams and so on, you will not see them being beat up or nothing. Cintron simply has no heart and crumbles under pressure. Now look at how Cotto finished the fight, completely destroyed, i mean that face was simply busted. Then in margo's fight after Cotto, he's is blamed of using illegal plaster like substances for his wrapping.

After Cotto lost everyone(most) were saying there was something fishy about that fight for the way he busted cotto up. So by speculation u could say that he did use that substance for cotto. Evangelista said he didn't see anything wrong, maybe he didn't noticed anything wrong but no one can say that there wasn't anything in there.

As for me after finding out about this cheating bastard and watching the cotto fight, im convinced that he did use that for cotto. All RESPECT I HAD FOR MARGO IS GONE, simple as that

u can speculate, but there's no proof yet....there's not even any proof the **** he had for the shane fight was illegal yet....there is a pending investigation...

nobody said it was "fishy" the way cotto looked after fight. he got caught w/ a lot of clean ****, plus he got his nose broken, that accounts for a lot of the blood.......

more ppl were suprised cotto got stopped, much like most ppl are surprised margarito just got stopped, but nobody said anything was fishy......

anyway, not saying marg is guilty or innocent, just let the **** play out before all you cotto nuthuggers try to find other excuses as to why your boy lost that night. wait for all the facts to come out first.......

like somebody esle posted, margarito walked through cotto's best **** that night, and that had nothing to do w/ whether or not he had plaster in his gloves....

Legal or not legal, what we are sure of is SOMETHING was in that wrapping which made it UNUSUALLY HARD after drying.
Regardless of Shane's slickness in the ring, Marg got some great shots in. But There were no thudding blows Saturday after the rewrapping.

Here's another thing:
If Margo believes they're legal, then why WOULDN'T he use the same things for the Cotto fight?

Yea, Marg walked through Cotto's best shots, Marg's chin is UNDENIABLE, even after this whole 'wrapping' thing.
But We can't deny the fact that Cotto kept backing up BECAUSE of the 'THUDDING BLOWS'. What if you take away Marg's 'iron' punches?

Just to add to Cotto's CLASS.
1) Cotto has never used any bad words or actions to sell a fight. Not even in press conference.
2) Between everything that was said about Maywether not wanting to fight him and all the insults from a lot of Cotto's fans he never spoke anything bad about Maywether even though I beleive that he would had beat Prett Boy.
3) When he lost to Margarito in Puerto Rico rumors started that Margarito tested positive to steroids and the 1st to deny and back Margarito up was Cotto.

Regarding his boxing skills,
I strongly beleive that his weakness is what we the fans love. The man comes to brawl always. He is a type of boxer that can outbox everbody (like he did with Mosley) and brawl with the best including Margarito and also win. If he choose to fight halfway (not brawling) I think nobody could beat him in that division. But than again we probably wouldn't enjoy or like him soo much as we do now.
