You clearly didn't look at the punch stats, he did land a bunch of punches but they were all spread out so he didn't get the rounds at all. But he did land quite alot of punches just not with any power to em, I wonder why...

Most were body shots and some were partially blocked. The only time he landed flush to the chin was I think the 6th or 7th rd and Mosley was forced to the ropes and executed the most important part of his gameplan: hold.

I have words on a screen saying that Tony was caught with an illegal substance in his wraps. I also have words on a screen --- amounting to a denial --- that contradict this information. I don't believe everything I read or hear. I'm discriminating like that.


Punches had no effect? Did you see enough punches land to determine this? To my recollection, on the few occasions Shane got tagged with anything like a good, flush Margarito punch, he grimaced through and kept on with his work. Shane is a durable, tough guy. He didn't get caught clean with anything like the volume of shots needed to have the severely debilitating effect you say was absent from Margarito's shots. Tony was unable to catch Mosley with shots like the ones that caught Cotto because Mosley stopped him working and denied him any rhythm all night long.

You know what's funny... I've seen more Margarito fans come back and post tonight than any other fighter after a loss. With the exception of Cotto. With all the hating on Margarito u still can't stop us from showing our support for Tony.

It's okay. Trinidad got caught. Mosley got caught. Even if this true, which I hope it's not, time will go by and he'll be alright.

The man always seemed a little bit greater than the sum of his parts.. He is not a world class Boxer.. Not by a Long shot.. But he beat World Class Boxers by sheer brute force..

Explain why Mosley couldn't hurt Cotto.. Marg Couldn't hurt Mosley.. But Marg could destroy Cotto..

Nothing has even been proven yet so while there's nothing wrong if you want to make assumptions the fact of the matter is that it's still under investigation. And I don't remember anyone saying he has unreal punching power. If it's true, I'd like to see it. Tony has never KO'd anyone out cold so I don't even know what they're talking about. It's the accumulation of punches buddy. The only time I've heard discussion of Margarito's punching power was after the Clottey/Judah fight. Clottey said Judah was a hard puncher but that Tony hits harder. That's it.

He had to re wrap his gloves 3 times.. So he was caught.. investigation is just due process.. caught is caught..

as for hard VS heavy.. see if I hit you with an aluminum baseball bat.. It is very light.. but it is hard and it will crack your skull.. Now if I hit you with a Rubber bat it will not crack your skull.. it will bounce your brain around.. cause your skin to swell.. cut you.. but most likely wont KO you.. just wear you down a lot quicker..

These guys have all said said Marg hits very Heavy..

and heavy comes from added weight..
