    Toney was sweating alot.

He looked like he was tired in the later rounds.
He even "took a round off".
I'm guessing he was able to do this since Booker was such a ****ty fighter.
Toney cannot fight this way against VK.
VK will kill him if he fights anywhere near the same way he fought Booker.
I think Toney should spend less time talking **** and trying to make everyone think he's the second coming of Tyson and actually get focused into training and being a top HW.

I am sure he will, he did have a long lay off due to injury, so we will see. i think he is the mandatory for Brewster and VK now.

Then he really needs to improve his skills and change his game plan.
Seriously, stop spending so much time talking **** and trying to be Tyson and train.
I'm sure if he does that he'll at least pose some threat to VK.
Otherwise he will be destroyed by VK.

For all you **** talkers and Toney haters remember one thing. Booker had never lost a fight before last night. All you people are calling him a bum not thinking about the fact that his first loss was to a great fighter, James Toney. Booker has never lost, therefore never knocked out. Knowing that how can you disrespect James for not KOing this guy when no one else has been able to do it either? James beat his ass so bad that he took a freakin knee in the 8th to stop the beat down.

James didnt KO Booker, but no one else has either so where the **** do you get off disparaging James because he didn't do it, and how do you know his punched werent powerful? They must have been doing something because it looked like Booker was hurt pretty bad the way he was barely able to punch and defend himself.

The Toney haters point that James is weak because he didnt knock out Booker is rediculous. Go look at you Hero Vitai, Bird, Ruiz or whoever the **** it is and see who they didnt KO. If they didnt KO 1 guy that someone else did, well then, they just must be weak and have no power at heavy. If your not a hypocrite like Im sure the haters are, you start a thread about that too.

                Dumbasses.

Toney will not beat Vitaly but I never thought he would to begin with. One thing I got to say is Toney dominated every round after the first. He didn't look tired or about to collapse. His punches are not going to effect the bigger heavyweights but he has shown he can can hurt some of his opponents. Booker couldn't hurt him so I think that is the reason Toney used less defense and why he was hit by Booker at times. Booker though never landed more than one punch at a time for long periods of time. Against a heavyweight that can hurt him he would be more defensive. Who ever said Toney didn't dominate that fight must not of been watching it. 119-108 was my score of the fight.

[QUOTE= I beleive Jirov has a better chance of beating toney than any one else in the div, simply because he has so much heart and good skill. i thin k jirov will due good in the div, as long as he doesn't continue to get stafted like he did against Mesi.[/QUOTE]

Yeah I agree w/that. Man at least it was a draw! oh well. Did Jirov realy call him out, cause someone else said it wasn't Jirov. Thats the next fight for both these guys go at it again. Jirov tough as nails but unfourtuantly I think he'll lose again to Toney. Jirov got too much heart and not enough brains sometimes. Imagine a super heavy in there with him.. If only he'd box the way he boxed the first round in the Mesi fight. Man he got skillz but resorts to down and out sluggin when he doesnt need to.

Toney didn't show anything, only that he knows how to pick opponents. This Rydell Booker should never be fighting on TV, anywhere. I can't believe he found 22 guys to beat.

                      Well - actually I can.

His last opponent, the one that "earned" him the IBA title fight was a split decision over a 13-7 Tipton Walker.

He also won a unanimous decision over John Basil Jackson who came in at 4-57-2.

He also won a unanimous decision over Donnie Penelton, who entered the fight at 13-138-4. I'm not joking. Penelton is still active, having lost one week ago to Mike Wood, who KO'd him, bringing his record to 13-158-5. He DOES have 5 KOs.

This Booker is the guy Tyson should have made his comeback against.

Let’s not forget Roy Bedwell, who fought Booker with a record of 15-67-1. He makes Anthony Prince (2-6) look like a good opponent. At least he knocked these guys out.

So which one of these guys do you think might have KO'd Booker?

Booker was a guy that should have been on the 3rd undercard at the national guard armory, not on a national TV telecast against a contender.
