Absolutely one can deduct that he used it before - if he's willing to use it in a fight that he's a favorite - then how doesn't he use it against Cotto for which he was an underdog AND it was the biggest fight of his career?... I hope his ass is banned for life if this is all true...

I don't see how it could be an accident and like someone said, if he used it in a fight everyone thought he should win, why wouldn't he use it against an opponent that he was supposed to lose to (Cotto). I wonder why Larry Merchant didn't ask him about the wraps in the post fight interview.?

Look at how Cotto was able to hit Margarito at will throughout the fight and Margarito's face had no signs of wear and tear at end. Cotto's face, on the otherhand, looked completely busted up. That's crazy considering that Margarito didn't land nearly as clean as Cotto did.
